With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.
Hi, My name is Sam and I'm new to this group. I am 23 and have had trich since I was 12. Over the years I have tried many times to stop, however it's only this past year that I have started to research ways of stopping, and have been really determined to do it. I plan on doing so with a combination of understanding, will-power, exercise, trying the John Kender diet, and seeing a therapist. I love designing, illustrating, cooking, extreme sports, exercising, seeing live music and reading. I would love to provide others with encouragement, and maybe get some support when I fall.

Hello- I am new to the group

My therapist really knocked some sense into me last Friday about my spending. She said that there are needs and there are wants. She said that there is always going to be cheap stuff to buy, but do I need it? The answer is mostly "no". So today, I am taking back some things that I bought online at Kohl's, namely a 9 x 12 rug and a quilt for my bed. I also bought sheets that I don't need...
I'm happy too! And proud!

Been rather busy lately, got a big freelance job, also I've been doing some waitressing at an awesome little cafe, extra money for my europe trip, to supplement me when design work is slow. It's been fun! And I ever get the urge or time to pull when I'm doing that kind of work, direct opposite from when I'm working at a desk.
Went out to a tapas restaurant last night, paid a rather dear amount for the meal (a farewell for someone, we got a set menu) and the food was pretty bleh, hardly anything vegetarian, eh. It was a huuuuuuuuge bunch of people my boyfriend knew from school, and they were so LOUD and rude. After a few hours of it, my friend and I (girlfriend of my boyfriend's best friend) left and went to another bar. We just couldn't deal with it anymore. Yuck. We had a good time at the other bar, a good band was playing. But I didn't drink too much yay!! Ha.
Going to a friend's housewarming party tonight, can't be bothered.... Blah... May have a nap first.
