Beating Trich Community Group
You mean that there is a name for IT? Im not weird? Trichotillomania, that big, long word that is the bane of our world. With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.

Hi, My name is Sam and I'm new to this group. I am 23 and have had trich since I was 12. Over the years I have tried many times to stop, however it's only this past year that I have started to research ways of stopping, and have been really determined to do it. I plan on doing so with a combination of understanding, will-power, exercise, trying the John Kender diet, and seeing a therapist. I love designing, illustrating, cooking, extreme sports, exercising, seeing live music and reading. I would love to provide others with encouragement, and maybe get some support when I fall.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

for something exciting, you could promise yourself an at-home haircut at day 120 or something!
or just getting some reallllly nice hair products to use as long as you're pull free!

Thanks Phoebe :) 114 days pull free. Wow! Well it's my birthday tomorrow so I'm just going to enjoy this weekend and not really think much about trich (but I'll still be aware as always).
Thanks Firante! Haven't wanted to pull out my hair for the past few days so that's been nice.

probably one of the best gifts you can get is just knowing that you are beating trich one day at a time!
