With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.

Hi, My name is Sam and I'm new to this group. I am 23 and have had trich since I was 12. Over the years I have tried many times to stop, however it's only this past year that I have started to research ways of stopping, and have been really determined to do it. I plan on doing so with a combination of understanding, will-power, exercise, trying the John Kender diet, and seeing a therapist. I love designing, illustrating, cooking, extreme sports, exercising, seeing live music and reading. I would love to provide others with encouragement, and maybe get some support when I fall.

Hehe Alex!!! My boyfriend can imagine his life with kids (thankfully not any time soon) but it's still scary. Felt better talking to a friend the other day, she is 30ish and has just started wanting kids. Hmm we'll see, I try not to think about it much but it comes up occasionally with my bf, and I stress. Yes, I know, I shouldn't stress about something so far away!

Argh.... By tomorrow afternoon this devil job will be over.. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!

I know!!! My hair is freaking disgusting, such an ugly mess! It's fifty million lengths. I can't cut it though. Unless I cut it to about 4cm long it would still be a million lengths. Ugh! But it will only be this awkward and yucky for a few months more (if I remain pf for a few months more). But... no bald spots. So I am very happy about that. This has not been the case for 11 years or more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and I have a complete part, all the way down the middle of my head. Yippee! Certainly haven't had that for the last 5 years or so...

Ugh.... Still working on this awful job. Am going to charge more money!!! It's eeeeeearly in the morning, must work faster! When I'm done I'd love to go back to bed, only got a few hours sleep last night. But if I know this client, and I do, they will be calling me to change something for several hours later, even after it's gone to print.

    My therapist really knocked some sense into me last Friday about my spending.  She said that there are needs and there are wants.  She said that there is always going to be cheap stuff to buy, but do I need it?  The answer is mostly "no".  So today, I am taking back some things that I bought online at Kohl's, namely a 9 x 12 rug and a quilt for my bed.  I also bought sheets that I don't need...
