Beating Trich Community Group
You mean that there is a name for IT? Im not weird? Trichotillomania, that big, long word that is the bane of our world. With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.

Hi, My name is Sam and I'm new to this group. I am 23 and have had trich since I was 12. Over the years I have tried many times to stop, however it's only this past year that I have started to research ways of stopping, and have been really determined to do it. I plan on doing so with a combination of understanding, will-power, exercise, trying the John Kender diet, and seeing a therapist. I love designing, illustrating, cooking, extreme sports, exercising, seeing live music and reading. I would love to provide others with encouragement, and maybe get some support when I fall.

You can do this! You may have to have bandaids on your hands, however, you can dance in the bathroom nakked to release stress!
Hugs instead of tugs!

Well I ended up puling 4 hairs last night. And I've pulled 2 so far today, it's 1pm. I'm trying really hard but they've all been accidental pulls. My biggest trigger at the moment is stress and honesty I'm a bundle of nerves... I'm doing my best to chill the eff out, but it's hard. Thinking I"ll have to start yoga again, and perhaps start meditation.. If I can be bothered.
XXX love!
Yep, you're a bundle of nerves! Just think what you can do with all them nerves aimed towards a single goal?
Hope you're getting a laugh and smile out of this!
