You mean that there is a name for IT? Im not weird? Trichotillomania, that big, long word that is the bane of our world. With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.

What I do when I need to move quickly is wet my hair down, no shampoo, no conditioner, just a quick dunk in the water.
It soothes the scalp, and the hair looks better after the "sleep" is gone.
Keep at it, stay strong, you can do this!
Miss you, hope all is well :)
Sorry I have been absent - been just sooooo busy at work, just been coming home and going straight to bed....its been exam week this week and next, so so tired!
But all is well, the new job is good by and large, have one tough class but rest are lovely.
hairwise - no problems, still PF - infact just realised today is 10 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hair has grown a bit since cut - it does annoy me and I want to put it back a lot, its goes frizzy dead easy as well, so am always pampering it....but it looks fab must show you guys some new pics soon!
Love love LOVE you all xx
Ten months! Round of applause!
Xxxxx
All still fine....am sosoosssoooo busy! But I am loving my job - but its a lot to pick up so I am working pretty much at least 16 hour days, plus both weekend days (from home obvs) but I am enjoying it, and hoping that as I get on top of my planning etc I will be able to have more free time.
Hair wise - still pull free - am gunning for the year now (anniversary date will be 22/03/12). I have been so busy I haven't had time to dye my hair so the whites are showing majorly. I do need to dye it, I am not ready to be a grey sister yet - but I am not sure if I should salon it or do it at home. Hmmm?
I don't know which would be better for you, so will leave that to the experts.
Cheers, a round of applause, and standing ovation!
Hugs!
WOW you are busy. I'm so happy you're enjoying it though. Holy crap your anniversary is so close!!
I mentioned in my thread that I just bought some henna and indigo online. It works out a bit cheaper, plus, the main benefit of being natural and dangerous chemical free. Honestly, reading articles about chemical hair dyes freaked me out. I think henna and indigo would work well on your hair too. Changing the proportions of each dye will change the colour, so 3 parts henna 1 part indigo would be a deep red, half henna half indigo would be auburn... Here's a US site that sells good henna - http://www.mehandi.com/ Perhaps there's on in the UK too. I got mine from Aus.
Work is good - I made a website for my students woowoo!!
My hair is in great condition now I pamper it all the time, there is still a bit of damage in my old hotspot but I am noticing it get better so think its improving more and more. I get compliments on my hair which is mad....from strangers as well. Must post you some piccies - I've been so busy haven't done any. My hair is sooooo curly it can be a pain to style but its worth it. It is so cold here in the UK like -8 so going out with wet hair is a nono - I did yesterday as was in a hurry to get to work and it froze a bit - the products went all gloopy.
Love to you all!!!!
Amazing work - congrats :)
Hahahaha about your hair freezing, oh my gosh.....
Love love
Have painted my nails today for the first time since horrid October reaction - a test to see if I am OK with nail varnish....so far OK.
I have uploaded a piccie for you all to see - my hair all natural after being snowed on then air dried in the pub :)
