Oh my gosh I can't believe you have pleurisy and you didn't pull! My husband had that once and I know it's so, so painful. You poor thing. That is indeed great you were able to get treated for free and at home! Australia has the same kind of benefits, though if you don't have a regular GP you'd generally to go to the hospital (emergency) to get that treatment. Wow and a bad asthma attack, gosh. What an awful night.

I had a lovely birthday- at the weekend we went to see Wicked with my family, then on my actual bday my hubbie took me for dinner and drinks. We are now off to York for the weekend :)

Hey, I had an awesome time in York, such a nice city - crazy to think I hadn't been there before. We will definitely go back soon. The weather was warm, we sat outside and had drinks, it was like Italy or something! When I booked it I thought it would be all log fires etc - its been a warm autumn here though. Cold today mind you, think that's winter arriving.

So in exciting news: my husband is applying for jobs in the USA! I really hope he gets one, his industry is much more thriving out there than here, where he lives under threat of redundancy and know he will deffo be getting the chop in June. He has had one skype interview already, although the interviewed 11 people from an application pool of 100 people, so he knows its a long shot!

But fingers crossed and good wishes please xx

It was cold when I was in York so there was definitely a lot of indoor pub action. Drinking in the sun is my favourite though, hehe.
