With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.

Hi, I'm Mrs Kolo I am new here and just trying to figure it all out....

I really want to be pull-free the sooner the better its dominated my life for too many years. I want to be free I want to be able to show myself to my husband without feeling ashamed.

Hey I've been reading up on the curly girl method, and I read that they recommend that you don't use shampoo! Do you still shampoo your hair or no? I might try the method.. I'm really happy with how my hair is now so I wonder if it will make it even better.. Hm.

Hey all!!!!! Sorry its been ages - been busy busy with all the exams and marking phew!

Confident - no I don't use shampoo!!!! Its amazing - so much better condition and bounce, hair only needs wetting every 3 or 4 days now. I use tresemme naturals silicone free conditioner and use that to wash my scalp then an intensive boots conditioner (I love boots) then curl creme and umberto gianni gel. It looks lovely and feels good.

Hi lovelies sorry I am neglectful its so busy at work 2 weeks of term left! But I amad as spending 2 weeks of the hols trekking in Morocco with kids at work!

As for the hair thing its never been gross as you still wash it throughly as needed google curly girl method for more info... I occasionally use a low poo shampoo which is sulphate free just to remove hard water build up by occasionally I mean about every 9 weeks. I will have to ho a fair few days in the heat without washing at all though in Morocco I bet I will smell nice lol! Xx
