You mean that there is a name for IT? Im not weird? Trichotillomania, that big, long word that is the bane of our world. With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.

Hi, I'm Mrs Kolo I am new here and just trying to figure it all out....

I really want to be pull-free the sooner the better its dominated my life for too many years. I want to be free I want to be able to show myself to my husband without feeling ashamed.

Try an anti-dandruff shampoo or organic shampoo to help relieve the itching.

The itching is a bear. I'm trying a shampoo called: advanced three (ultimate treatment shampoo) by HG Hair Gear. I think its helping. My urges have been down.

Yep, what the others said. Also brush your hair with a stiff bristled brush, and wash your hair with anything just to get it washed.

The itch is a bitch.. But just remember it's probably all those tiny little hairs growing back!! Yay!

heya - seem to be good - today is day 13! Its annoying not being able to get online - but am finding I don't get many urges to pull. Its amazing that it has dominated my life for so long yet actually i had never really tried not to pull before. Well maybe once. but now, I am just not allowed to pull so I don't. Seems to be OK. Bit itchy but not unbearable.
