You mean that there is a name for IT? Im not weird? Trichotillomania, that big, long word that is the bane of our world. With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.

Had ANOTHER pulling dream on top of an awful night's sleep urgh. I really wasn't sure if I had pulled or not - but I have checked all over my bed and floor and can't find any hair that looks like my pulling hairs....a few hairs around bed and pillow - mostly I think cat though (because my hair is dark and lots of it short sometimes I am not sure if hairs are mine or the cats!!!!) and I don't think pulling in my sleep was a problem - I think its just a bad dream.
Oh god what if I'm deluding myself and pulling in my sleep?
You are stronger than the urge to pull. You can do this!
Hurray, 56 days!
Yes!
Stay strong, hands down!
Mid you have the craziest dreams!!
Day 57 today - bad nights sleep though - really itchy back (eczema - no visable flare but issues as its itching will make sure I take care of skin today) then hubbie up at 4am which completely woke me today (usually I just go back to sleep) had JUST got back to sleep by 6ish when I had to get up to tke hubbie to train st!! Now back home in bed but couldn't drop off - my neighbours daughter having another screaming tantrum about school (daily occurance) didn't help - I teach teenagers so am not sure but is it normal to have massive tantrums, sccreaming fits, swearing etc when you are 8 years old?
My cat is 5 years old today!! We have had him since he was the teeniest little kitten - we took him home and he hid behind the washing machine!! Funny to think he was once so wee. He is curled up so tightly - he is like a walnut whip, with his head tucked under his bottom - he is such a good friend to me :)
I want to reward myself for 60 days (3 days time!!) I haven't used a reward for ages - don't want to get unmotivated. Think I will buy myself a course of sunbed sessions - they help my eczema a lot.
I hacked off about 2 inches from the bottom of my hair yesterday sounds mad does't it? But the hair from below my ears down is really thick and was about halfway between my shoulders and elbows - piling it all on top of my head made it easy to hide the thin/bald bits on top and sides but hving it all on top of my head all day everyday was getting heavy and now its summer - hot! Hot head = itchy head= more urges. So its lighter now - a bit harder to hide those patches but oh well - soon they will grow.
xxxxXXXxxxx pull free dust to everyone
Now... my motherly rant over... YAY for almost 60 days!! I can't believe it!, you are being so strong, you are doing so great. Well I can believe it. Cos you are great!
Hehe yes I cut off big chunks of my hair every now and then to get rid of the split ends and nastiness. Your hair will grow, that's what it does! I"m jealous of your thick long hair, it seems once my hair reaches a certain point (6cm up from my elbows) it just stops growing. Boo... I wonder if it can grow longer than that...
xoxoxo

Sleep is becoming an issue again. Hmmmm.

Ooh exciting about your friend's baby. None of my friends are having kids... yet. My close one's at least. The thought of having kids puts fear in my heart!!
