With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.

Hi, I'm Mrs Kolo I am new here and just trying to figure it all out....

I really want to be pull-free the sooner the better its dominated my life for too many years. I want to be free I want to be able to show myself to my husband without feeling ashamed.

yeah he is really supportive :)

three months is really soon! I am going on holiday in october - if all stays good the day we go will be just after 7 months so I am lookin forward to maybe being able to wearmy hair down on hols and swim etc!

80 days today!!

feeling good, very few urges now. I do play with my hair still working on hands down - the urge to pull only comes when I play with one place on my head so I am avoiding it like the plague!

80 days, how insane. And YAY, hopefully we will both be able to swim on our holidays soon. So exciting.

yeah would be nice. think I'd be OK swimming now with my hair tied back, it'd look a fright but not bald so prob no one would notice much!

I think I have had a full on yeast attack this weekend - got thrush urgh and real itching on my scalp, legs, face and arms horrendous!

yeah have been on the yoghurt!!!! much better today thankgod. am wondering if I have thrush on my face (this may be tmi sorry) as my lips and chin have been sore, swollen and itchy - I put some thursh cream on and it seemed to help more than my eczema cream did :/

Today wasn't great I have been fiddling and three hairs have snapped while I have been fiddling - not pulled ut snapped off where they are damaged. HANDS DOWN

day 81 without pulling though :)
