  Today was my mom's birthday. It still hurts so much. It's becoming harder to be happy instead of getting easier. Everytime something hapoy or good happens I just feel sad that shes not there for me to tell about it. I don't want to be happy I just want my mom back.

  Today marks the first month without my mom. I want time to stop because I don't want it to be a year or ten that I haven't gotten a hug from my mom, or heard her laugh.  I miss her more than I knew I could miss anything we were so close it was ridiculous. I am already a wreck today and I just got up. I got a new job offer too, but I can't even get myself to call the people back. I have put my life on pause to waot for someone I know will never return half of me knows I have to move forward...

  I have been silent for awhile now, I've spent most of the time caring for my dad and visiting my mom's grave alone. I received my neckalace of her finger print and I have been searching for any cards she may have given me. I feel like I have immersed myself in things that remind me of her in an effort to bring her back to me. It is crushing that I realize that no matter how much of her I surround myself with she will never hug me again, I miss her so much. Friday marks 1 month since the day she...

  So many people have told me as of late how much I look like my mom. I've known that we look a lot alike for all of my life. Something I did not expect from her passing is how hard it is to here that. It is even harder for me to look in the mirror. Since I am temporarily in my childhood home to take care of my father, everything around me triggers some memory of my mom sitting in the livingroom she had a spot, and her table it reminds me of nights when I was a teenager and we would watch a movie...

  The last week has been a blur. I can't help but to feel like I am supposed to greive for my mom forever. I am only 22, all the important things in my life I assumed she'd be here for : my upcoming graduation from college, my wedding, having children. It hurts me to think that she won't be there. I was so close I would be the only one of my siblings to complete a 4 year degree and she was so proud. I almost feel like none of it is worth doing if it wasn't for my dad, I would be under a rock.
