So many people have told me as of late how much I look like my mom. I've known that we look a lot alike for all of my life. Something I did not expect from her passing is how hard it is to here that. It is even harder for me to look in the mirror. Since I am temporarily in my childhood home to take care of my father, everything around me triggers some memory of my mom sitting in the livingroom she had a spot, and her table it reminds me of nights when I was a teenager and we would watch a movie until 4am and eat popcorn and talk about her childhood. When I had a rough time with depression I remember her holding me as I sobbed about things that seemed so important and crucial at the time, but now seem meaningless. When I look at my parents van, I remember the last day I saw my mother just 26 or so hours before her passing and everytime I sit in the car I break down. I am to return to work next.Tuesday and while I realize I have to keep going on I don't want to. I called my mom for literally everything. I am so lost without her.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

How old was your mom when she passed?
I had much the same relationship with my mom... I talked to her everyday and I adored her... The only thing that I can tell you is that as time goes on it hurts less and we can smile more when we think of them.... Huge hug and a blessing...xo
