I have been silent for awhile now, I've spent most of the time caring for my dad and visiting my mom's grave alone. I received my neckalace of her finger print and I have been searching for any cards she may have given me. I feel like I have immersed myself in things that remind me of her in an effort to bring her back to me. It is crushing that I realize that no matter how much of her I surround myself with she will never hug me again, I miss her so much. Friday marks 1 month since the day she passed and I just want time to stop.

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.

Time will pass, no matter how much we try to freeze it.
And as time passes, our emotions will change. I remember being very numb at first. Now I'm mostly at peace, but I want the final stuff to just happen and be done and over.
Gentle hugs, you will find your own peace in your own time and your own way.
