I lost my husband almost five months ago. I am so lost and so lonely I don't know what to do. Its like my life has ended. I have been to
Therapy and Grief Therapy and nothing helps. I don't want to go to the places we both went,it breaks my heart. I think my daughter
is getting sick of my crying. I just tell my friends I am ok. They don't understand. I married him when I was 17 and we were together
54 years. We did everything together he was the love of my life. What do the rest of you do? I still feel the suregon made a mistake and was to aggressive. I just can't let it go. I try to keep busy but nothing seems to be helping, now his birthday is coming up and the Holidays
are also coming. Please help me

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

It is possible, but terribly hard filling the space 'at the table' so to speak. Your daughter may be struggling with her own grieving of her Dad, and perhaps feeling at a loss as to how best to support you with the huge change in your life.
I'm 63 and all my family has died, what got me through the pain was to find some purpose to my day, use my energy not at grieving, but to find something to live for, something that would bring me some peace in my mind.
I was not getting the understanding from my friends, they all cared, but 'just didn't get it', they hadn't lived through the same losses. Perhaps a therapist or group run by the hospital could be helpful. I don't know if you have a pet, but my cat was a Huge Comfort to me, something about the unconditional love of a pet...I had to "take care of her" she was a reason to get out of bed in the morning. Gentle hugs as you process towards healing.

I agree with SunCloud, the W&W group is a good place since they have all been through it before.
Gentle hugs
seems to help me the best. I pray for all of you and that you get thru this sad journey.
