Bereavement Support Group
Are you grieving the loss of a loved one? Whether you lost someone recently or it's been years, grief and its accompanying emotions can be complicated to cope with. Join our online support group to connect with a supportive group of people who really know how you feel. Help is right here.

I can relate to the wanting them around to share your stories and life with, I think about it all the time. The pain comes and goes for me, but the dark days are the hardest.
I lost my Mum at 2 months so never had the chance to get to know her and make memories, my aunt was there a lot for me instead. She passed away this year though :(
I cant offer much advice on the grieving process and about what you should do/feel as apparently I never really grieved. Its all locked up away and spills out when it builds up too much.
But I do know that she will still be watching over you and that you don't need her physically there to tell her about things that are happening. She is with you and living it all with you. You have to live your life and keep moving forward for her. Remember her and wish her happy birthday on her day, smile and think of memories you have had together on that day and go out and do something nice that she would like. Live it all for her, let the memories remain with you but be grateful and happy to have them and live to make new memories in your life for her.
Stay strong, and if you ever need a chat I am about :)
Often in grief therapy people are encouraged to write their loved one a letter and read it to them and then to burn it as a letting go... Or some may do it with balloons that you let go
Grief therapy can be really helpful if you are having trouble moving through the grief sweetie...
I can go back and forth.... For me it's been a few years so I'm no longer lost in it however I still have times that I hurt... I can also smile at the fond memories... Letting go of the grief has nothing to do with how much you loved someone.
Kubler-Ross has written great books on grief and the stages of grief that might be helpful for you
If you have a faith a leader might be able to help you with this
