The last week has been a blur. I can't help but to feel like I am supposed to greive for my mom forever. I am only 22, all the important things in my life I assumed she'd be here for : my upcoming graduation from college, my wedding, having children. It hurts me to think that she won't be there. I was so close I would be the only one of my siblings to complete a 4 year degree and she was so proud. I almost feel like none of it is worth doing if it wasn't for my dad, I would be under a rock.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Here is where words are very important. We will miss our loved ones for ever, but morning is temporary. It may be long, bit it will not be for ever!
My wife, who lost her father about 30 years ago, says that things that used to make her sad (like cute things the kids did) now make her smile and say (or think) "dad would have liked that"!
Gentle hugs, we can get there
