  Tooth Pain after a root canal! Is it an infection?

  Hello, my partner has been moaning about teeth pain for the last week. He had a root canal from a local dentist in January; they are temporarily closed. Although there is no evident infection, I suspect the root canal gives him trouble. I've been giving her antibiotics and painkillers for the past three days. I can see he's had it with it and can't handle it any longer. Is it better for me to take him to a public or private clinic? Is there an infection causing the discomfort? I'm expecting...

  Have any of you gone to the dentist while pregnant for a dental cleaning? Is there anything I should know before I go, such as whether or not to have X-rays or what kind of polish they use? I'm just wondering.
