  First time posting on this support group. I don't know why but i have horrible separation anxiety from my girlfriend. When she goes to sleep and I am up I am frightened and scared and I don't know why. I was single for a number of years and was used to sleeping alone but we have been together for about 4 years and I don't know what the problem is. I guess I spent so many years alone that I hate being alone now. Any thoughts?

  I have been talking to my therapist about things that I have been going through with my immediate blood family and she said that what they have been doing is emotional incest. I had a great childhood and never wanted for anything, but one wrong thing and I felt guilty about it and had remorse for days, like it was never enough.   I want this 80 pounds shed off of me and it takes so much discipline and work. Gonna have to get off my ass and start doing something. It's hard to do meals here because we are very limited on money for food right now and it's not the healthiest of meals. I guess I'll stop snacking or something. Anybody else going through it?

  My mom meant everything to me and she passed away because of 2 blood clots she got after a neck cancer operation. She was my protection from the disgusting outside world and now I feel very alone. She was so loved by so many people and taught me how to be better. I miss her so much I can't even stand it. She died at 64 and I'm 32 but I feel like I'm going through this loss as a child.   I don't think i would be doing this well if it wasn't for my amazing family. My girlfriend is unbelievably beautiful inside and out and her kid is amazing and thoughtful and handsome lol it hurts so bad to lose my mom but what I have found in my family is priceless and beautiful and I am so happy even though I am sad and it's all because of them.   Day 2 of my exercising and it seems to be going well. My appetite is going down and I'm trying to have self control not just with eating but in all areas of my life. Hope that everyone is doing well. Obesity definitely is a serious struggle.

  I exercised today and am trying to eat right. The problem with me is that I push myself too far and have a herniated disk and it hurts after a while. I am learning to take my weight day by day until i get to the weight that I want to be at. I've never given up and I'm trying not to give up. Really, all I want to do is eat especially because my mom died 2 weeks ago and I have a lot of depression. It takes a shitload of self-discipline but I think I can do it. Anyone CAN do it.
