  Hi, i am a long time member and got a lot of help when i came regularly, so im hoping it can happen again. I am anorexic and 62 years old with disordered eating since as far back as ji can remember. For a period i was doing better, gained back healthy weight, but patterens, thoughts, rigidity in foods remained and then came back whhat my dr. Calls purging through exercise.   I had a knee replacement in the fall, all went well but I have what he says is bursitis in my hip on the same side. it is awful so painfiul I walk like I did before the knee replacement. it is also hurting in the back area of my hip, just achy all around it. I ice 2 times a day and take alleve but it is not helping. any suggestions?

  I am having a knee replacement surgery soon and I also having an eating disorder and it scares me to no end that my restriction will start up again because of my fear of gaining. does anyone have a similar issue ad how do they handle it?

  things have not been good. dad went in for emergency surgery, had 2 feet of small intestimes removed, that went well but after surgery it all went t shit. he suffered a heart attack and has pneumonia, he is almost 93, it is so hard this is not the dad i knew before the surgery. i have not been eating well, luckily work has been good and i have been able to have the wek off. he is in ICU and today they are going to go in with a tube and remove over 1 liter of fliud. it is so hard to see him, he...
