  I am new to this site and just thought I would try to express my thoughts and feelings on a site where others understand the pain.  I recently got out of a 4 year abusive relationship and am left feeling very depressed, sometimes suicidal, and numb.  I have always struggled with depression, but it has intensified since I have been in this relationship, and especially recently getting out of it.  I just need to understand how to get better and not feel this way...

  I am new to this site, and made an account hoping that I can express my thoughts and feelings with people that know my struggle and pain leaving an abusive relationship.  I recently got out of a 4 year abusive relationship and am left feeling very alone, sad, angry and numb.  I know that one day everything will be okay, but i just don't know how to get myself to that point....
