Liars Anonymous Community Group
A support group to provide those with a compulsive addiction to lie a place to share hope, strength and courage with others like them; solve our common problem and help others with a compulsion to lie. We aren't alone!
Life is not always easy. There are trials and tribulations that we are destined to encounter. How we face the difficult times is defined by our attitudes and character. I have learned to believe in my self and know that I will end up on both feet breathing no matter what. Stay positive and lie free. And hang 10 on the good waves!! Have a great week all! Continuing my 1% rule! Trying to be 1% better today than I was yesterday!!
Not feeling so good today, as in sick.
Be careful of when you're HALT: Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired. I'm going to sick to that to make it HALTS, or maybe SHALT. During these times you're more susceptible to relapsing into bad behaviors.
Take care everyone.
I'm John, and I'm a liar.
(Where's the edit function?)
Sick, Hangry (to account for both hungry and angry), Irritated, Tired.
SHIT.
Beware of SHIT everyone. Stay true.
Keep pushing.
That created some tension because this is how the ensuing conversation goes:
She: Well YOU said dot dot dot.
Me: But what I meant was dot dot dot.
She: But that's not what you said.
Me: <no further argument because I really have no legs to stand on yet at this point>
So, yeah, I could definitely be better at communicating, and furthermore not assuming that after a conversation that there is actual understanding.
Always good insight, Mike.
I'm John, and I'm a liar. The twists in my communication in the past count as lying. (In the case of the other night, it was not. That was a misunderstanding, completely. But beware of how easy it is for past behaviors to influence what you do today.)
Continuing to love myself 1st. Have a great rest of the week you guys.
