Day 109...great day everyone...new faces l see and to those l say welcome. ..lm sure you are not happy that your circumstances got you here, but hopefully this is your first step in your recovery. Last time l wrote l was steadying myself for my sons graduation from college...a very emotional and proud moment...to stand there with his brother and my ex-wife. We looked at each other and nodded "Good job!" I say this because lies destroyed my marriage but we concentrated on raising our sons together and we have become a prime example of how co-parenting can work. Here is my point-we had to take ourselves out and concentrate on raising our sons. It is similar to lying...before you utter it, take yourself out and put yourself in the place of the person you are about to lie to...see the hurt and disappointment that they would feel. That's a lot but the thought is instantaneous. Don't put them or yourself in that position. My lady and l had a deep conversation last night...while yes we are still together she acknowledged that she sees the changes in me and in my attempts...not only her but her friends as well. We still dance together and go out together....we went to a wedding reception and more than once we were referred as wife or husband to each other,,, but neither of us corrected anyone. Anyway while she stated this she still feels something is missing....remnants from lies can take time to recover from. While she says she is not angry anymore she still feels 'stuck'...however she is still here, she enjoys the time we spend and she feels in my patience for things return to where they once were l may become impatient and give up. I say this to all of you....don't EVER give up...don't ever quit. If you fall GET BACK UP! I shared with her that lm here and lm in it till the end. Realize the lies told cut DEEP...and your patience will be tested. Remember the lies told were over time (in my case two years) and when all this was exposed it was two days before her birthday...which l ruined. My birthday is in 13 days...l told her lm not expecting anything from her because l don't deserve it...all l want is to one:see it because we know the next days are not promised to any of us and two: that lm able to see her. Don't lose hope...keep your faith, pray DAILY and most of all KEEP POUNDING!!

Dave...the key word you stated was MAY...that means to me that there is still hope that your marriage can be saved. This is the hardest part....the devastation from the exposure can not be lessened. There is nothing else to hide...l pray that both of you get through this phase....

Thanks Logan. I appreciate your words. Your story resonated with me on many levels because I ruined my wife's birthday as well two years ago and it seems I ruin every life event. As of now we are thinking to co-parent as well but I do not know if we will live together long term. She is pregnant for the first time, with twins, and I put so much stress on her and the fetus. I just feel terrible. We were so good and I was back in the door with both feet and now I am hundreds of miles away. Honest will only inch me closer.
