Day 3. Doing good so far been talking to ex she told me she loves me still but we are still fighting about my lie. But I've been telling her the truth so far about everything. I'm really pushing myself to be honest. Anyways just gotta keep my head up and stay postive that I can do this. I need to I don't want to lose her

Just for today I'm going to keep going in recovery one step at a time. No matter what is happening around me I can just keep it simple. I can't live my past, only my present. I can be sorry about the past but focused on being in recovery today. So just for today I don't lie, and I'm kind.

Checking in, just reflecting on how this time last week I was sitting in a hotel room, scared that I might never be a part of my family's lives ever again, and for what? Lies, stupid lies, pointless lies. Each day has been a challenge because for me and most of you, we just don't want to lie period, about anything. Big lies, little lies, white lies, at this point they might as all be the same. Keep striding forward people, Happy Tuesday.
