between all the lies I've told in the last fifteen years to my wife and family, I'm indanger of losing them . I need help getting away from the lies. I hope this is the right place to find that help.

Hello everyone! I'm Russ, and I'm a liar! I've been so busy lately. Denver just got hit with this really wet, heavy snow. Every shovel load feels like 50 pounds. It's crazy! Anyway, I'm Russ, I'm a liar. I've been good for over three weeks now. I'm so damn amazed by everyone here! I was looking at all the names over the past couple of days, Ed, Mike, Russ (the other Russ), Greg, Rick, Scott, Tiffany... how can anyone see all of these people and know they have the exact same problem as you, and still feel alone? We have so much support and love! This is incredible! I love all of you so much, and together, we can do anything!

I'm Mike and I'm a liar. I thought I was doing well until it was pointed out to me that any lie, no matter how trivial or whatever the reason, is still a lie. So I'm back at 2 days. It's like learning to walk and talk all over again, but its absolutely worth it.

I'm finding that I've been being 100% honest with my girlfriend to the point where I'm telling her if I even debated lying during a certain situation.

Hi folks. My name is Greg, and I am a liar. Yes, Mike. a lie is a lie is a lie, not matter what size it comes in. I have had this discussion with a counselor, my wife and others. Most people go through life telling 'little white lies', and just consider it normal. And for most people, it is. They are just a form of social nicety that we accept and condone. But for people like us, they are dangerous territory to be avoided completely. Start telling one 'little white lie', and you are heading down that slippery slope. Zero tolerance is the goal here. You are either someone who tells lies, or you are someone who does not tell lies. I know which I want to be, and that means NO lies what-so-ever. Yes, it is hard. And you must learn to be tactful but truthful in many situations. And sometimes there is no way to be that, so just be honest. Most people will respect that. It is very hard to do this all the time, but this is what we must do.
Today was a good day, no lies and it sure feels like a great accomplishment. Having you folks here is a great source of strength and inspiration. Our individual struggles become a collective struggle with great strength we can all draw from. I hope everyone has a good day tomorrow.

Yes it is and it gets a small bit easier everyday, and everytime those situations arise, for me to be honest. Today I'm on a very big high, I just landed my first job where I was completely honest and didn't puff myself any to look better. I feel great and want to thank all of you for your great suggestions that have helped me greatly. I also want to Make a public display of gratitude to my girlfriend for being that biggest and best support I could ever even hope to have let alone have.

Hello folks, my name is Greg, and I am a liar. Had another good day yesterday, and learned a good lesson from it. I finally realized that what I often perceive as bad new that I often felt I had to hide ( and lie about), is usually just 'normal' stuff that is no big deal. It just needs to be addressed and dealt with in an open and honest manner. Pretty straight-forward, eh? It was one of those moments where I consciously spoke about the 'bad' news to my wife, we had a conversation about it, it was dealt with, and life continued on. It was too simple, yet it was a huge milestone for me. Hope that today is another good one.
