Today marks the beginning of day 5. Rob, great job on the one week mark. Stay true to yourself and your goals. I've slipped a few times, but it just makes me work that much harder. Keep up the good work. Stay strong everyone...
My name is Rob, and I'm a liar.
Today marks the beginning of day 7 for me, so I hope it goes well. Rob, sorry to hear about the slip, but been there, done that my friend. Did you catch yourself in it or did someone point it out to you? I guess what I'm looking to see is if you realized it yourself. We're all here for you. Today is the first day of your new streak. Learn from it. Stay strong everyone...
Been quite awhile since I lied but I know there is a good potential for me to lie again. I don't want to hurt people, especially one particular person anymore.
Going to start posting here again to make sure I don't lie anymore.
Good morning to the group. Today starts day 8 for me. Rob, thank you too. This forum helps give me strength, and I hope others get strength from it too. Stay strong everyone...
This is Matt, I'm a huge liar. I've been honest for about 10 hours.
I just joined this group, and have posted a somewhat lengthy description of how I got here to the main forum. I'm looking forward to, and desperately need any assistance you might be able to offer.
Thanks.
Love truly honest people. wish i was one.
i do think everyone lies. i don't think that means i should shouldn't try to get better.
I'm a liar and it's so painful to say that because I really am a good person but I've lied so many times that I'm known as a liar now. But like AA, the first to recovery and changing bad behavior is to admit your faults.
We must change our thought process and think about the end result if we lie - is lying worth the consequences? It's easier said than done since most of my lies at least, are almost automatic. But I have hope and its encouraging to know that there are others like me.
until next time, Be Good Everyone!
Today begins day 9. Yesterday was actually an easier day for me, with no temptations or urges to lie. I can only hope that this continues, but I know that each day brings new challenges. I hope there is strength in numbers and support I receive from others like me. Stay strong everyone....
