TTC- YAY!!!! conrats!!!
Nae- you are still on my heart. hope you are doing better and have a good weekend.
I am so excited for the transfer tomorrow (minus the full bladder!)! Last I heard we had 5 embies lookig good and two that they were not so sure about. We will see tomorrow! planning to just transfer one, and freeze the others.
goodnight everyone!
TTCTEACHER YEAY!!! CONGRATS lady that's fantastic news!! We are literally on this road together at the same time!!
JA- I did have acne this round in weird spots for sure! You aren't alone. However I dint have large quantities in 1 spot. Hang in there these drugs do strange things. As if there isn't enough to worry about right? Best of luck on your transfer all the sticky baby dust got sot you!!
Roadfullof- When you say lupron trigger do you mean the micro dose flare protocol instead of the antagonist? If so that's what we just did and it did the trick so fingers crossed for you this time around!!
Nae- I can't stop thinking about you and hope you are doing the best you possibly can right now : ( I'm sorry I've been there and that's all you can do is find ways to cope.
Our transfer was today! it went very well! My RE was extremely positive and got my hopes up a bit more- not sure if that is good or bad, lol. my beta is the day after labor day. he recommended i not POAS until the day before, which would be 9 days after. how long have you all waited and gotten a reliable result? i will find out tomorrow how many can be frozen. right now we still have 6 others! holy cow, i feel blessed!
JA- I am so glad your ET went well. Now comes the fun part..the tww. It about drove my nuts but thankfully I was in the middle of preplanning for school so that helped keep my mind off things, kinda. Someone posted this link and I literally looked at it 12 times a day to see where things were. Please do not poas to early, I did and got a negative on Sunday only to get a positive on Wednesday. I could have saved dome heartache if I would have just listened to my RE. Can we say stubborn, lol!

Road Good luck with the stims in October. With all the patience you have I know youll be a great mom.
Nae Thank you again for your kind words last night. You are one of the most positive and optimistic women I know. I am going to take your advice and be happy. You are continually in my thoughts and prayers.
MrsRyan dont be nervous, be excited! 700 is fantastic! I must admit Im jealous, lol. That little embryo inside you is strong, just like its momma. Heres hoping for the best. Do you have another beta or do you have to wait for your first u/s?
ASR- I totally agree with you. I have written a journal for the last 4 yrs while ttc and I plan on reading my little one, their story. Just so they will know how much I wanted them. I have treasured every part of this process, the good and the bad. IF has taught me a lot, and I dont think I am done learning. Good luck tomorrow with your surgery. I pray that God sees youre though and no infection is found.
Erin- everything happens for a reason as I have found out and try to accept every day. 3 follies, even slow growers, is a good thing. It will work out in the end. Youre IF journey might be a little longer but thats okay, God puts us in exactly the place He wants us.
Hoping-you basically described my entire IF journey. All those emotions, even a twinge of jealously, is normal. The main thing to understand is that everyones IF journey is different. You had perfect u/s and bw. Rejoice in that! I love you dhs optimism and positive outlook. Your well on your way to your BFP.
Bflix- I am so happy the babies are doing good! Praying for a smooth nine months, or 8 now, lol.
Jewel How did your ET go on Wed?
As for me, I am relishing in the fact that I am pregnant. God creates miracles all the time and I have one growing inside me. My second beta is tomorrow and Im hoping for a number in the 400s. I wish all your ladies the best of luck on this journey. Keeping the end goal in mind makes this entire IF journey bearable.
Have a great Sunday-
TTCteacher- I can't WAIT to see what the next beta come in at!! When is your ultrasound?
JA great to hear your transfer went well..How many did u wind up transferring?
Thanks for all of the support ladies.. MrsRyan and TTc.....so happy for you both..can't wait to hear about your u/s.
Erin- is your ER tomorrow? Wishing you Good Luck!
So after much indecision and torturing myself over what to do (after low follicle#), I went ahead with egg retrieval. Before they took me in for the procedure the dr met with me and warned me that I would probably only get 1 or 2 eggs.
He found SIX!
So now I'm on pins and needles until I get that fert report. Right now its 3:30 a.m. Praying so hard for healthy embryos! We are doing a day 5 transfer after PGD.
TTC - Congratulations!!! I'm so happy for you. Thank you for the post-transfer link. I'm sure I'll anxiously look at it every day.
Jewelzsi and JA - good luck with your 2WW. Almost there!
Gatorgirl and hoping - how are stimms going? Gatorgirl - Is ER soon?
TTC- thanks for the advice, and for that cool website!
ASR- how was your surgery? how are you feeling?
Jewel- how was the ET? when is your beta?
me- ahh! i was very hopeful the first few days, but its starting to drain as i dont feel any differently. my RE said he would suspect it to implant around tuesday...today... and that a good sign would be some bloating. if today ends and i still dont feel bloated or any different it will be discouraging. i am sure not everyone feels that way, but of course its going to make me paranoid. also- the last two cycles- one while on BCP, and one while on progesterone after an IUI- i had 21 day cycles. today is day 21, so the fear of AF has begun, and i am slightly crampy today. trying to keep the hope alive....
Erin - Way to go! 6 eggs is fantastic! *woot woot*
I'm doing the happy dance for you ladies!!!
Well my last 2 days have been majorly shitty! My surgery was painful and couldn't be completed. I had my biopsy but my ovaries thought it was appropriate to play hide and seek so I'll need to have the cyst aspiration in 2 weeks. Why 2 weeks you ask? Well, after a visit with my hematologist (after the 28 vials of blood and 1 xray that were taken) I have more ailments to tend to. I have Alpha Thalessemia (1 chromosome is off out of the 4) which in and of itself is not a big deal but after the horrible internet reading, if my husband tests positive, it could cause major complications. They discuss sometimes advising termination after 12 weeks because of the child's poor quality of life. My husband has yelled at me to stop reading the stuff online until I get the test results but I need to know what the possibilities are. Needlesstosay, I'm very scared. This blood disease have also give me an iron and vitamin D deficiency of a 3 year old. Yes, 3 years old! You heard correctly. Now, you can't carry any babies with levels this low. That is an automatic miscarriage. So I'm on pills to up that. The kicker was that I have a gastrointestinal bacteria infection that I have apparently had for a while called H. Pylori which is gotten from undercooked food or person to person contact (ie, door handles, bathroom sink stuff, etc.) My doctor asked me if I eat in NYC a lot and I do. He said, well it swims down there. Just great! So now, I'm on a 14 day antibiotic for that, 1000mg. I'm happy all except for the Thalessemia is treatable but what burns me up is that I go to the doctor and no one has ever found any of the things they are finding now. WTF! I need a hematologist and RE to find out what ails me!!! And everyone says relax, relax, relax, it will happen. I really want to flick them all off. There was so much going on that I had no idea about. And yes, I'm happy to know but for a year and change I struggled and cried. Then my doctor says, "You might not even have a fertility problem. Everything you are experiencing makes you infertile but when corrected, you might be able to conceive naturally but we don't know now. So you should follow through on your route." I'm infuriated!!!! So the net-net is my cycle has been pushed back again because of this infection. I'm on 8 medications and haven't even started to stim yet.
So my stomach is in knots today due to being majorly pissed off at work with unnecessary nonsense. Does anyone know how long you are sore for after a biopsy. It is not as bad as yesterday but when I get mad, I can feel it in my lower tummy region. I just need to go home and lie down. I'm so upset and just want to cry. My head hurts.
I'm sorry ladies. It's the end of the day and I just needed to vent. =0(
jewel- you are lucky your able to do a beta on labor day! i am pretty sure that is when mine would have been, but since its a holiday its the day after! like i need another day of this! ahh!
Good luck JA you always have such a good outlook. Can't wait to hear about yous betas for you and jewelzsi.
As of right now I have 4 embryos! So much better than I ever imagined. Transfer is after day 5 on sat.
My prayers are also with you JA and jewelzsi for BIG FAT POSITIVES in the very near future. There have been a lot of positives on here lately so you guys have to keep it going! No pressure of anything..lol :))
ASR--YUCK! So sorry to hear about all your obstacles and illnesses! :( But the silver lining really may be that once you treat them, you will once again be fertile and become a mother on your own, or with a little help. I hope this is the case and that today is a better day.
Jewelzsi and JA ... I can't wait to hear great news. I just know it will be fantastic!
Erin...Saturday is right around the corner! eeeee!! *squeals of excitement* How are you doing?
Thanks ladies. Today is a better day. I'm still a bit sore from the prodding to try to get my cysts aspirated but all in all, I'm ok I guess. Hubby went for his blood tests today so now we're waiting to see what happens. I appreciate all your uplifting words. I am hoping and praying for the best.
How is everyone doing? I'm doing pretty good. Side effects from Lupron have calmed down and I'm feeling pretty good. Trying to stay positive. At todays ultrasound they found 2 follicles on right side and 4 on the left that were measuring decent. Lots of smaller ones so I'm praying those take off & GROW! I go back on Friday again for u/s & bloodwork but dr says my cycle is looking good. Should do retrieval on Labor Day or day after.
