Hi ladies,
This is my first time on DS. I recently finished my first IVF cycle with PGD. I had four embryos but after the PGD it was determined that only one was healthy, a little girl. The waiting has been torture and yesterday we got a BFN. I've been so discouraged.
I have had 6 miscarriages over the past four years and have one beautiful little son who is 2 and half. It seems most likely that I have many eggs with chromosome abnormalities - we knew that was the case for sure with two of the babies.
I will start my second round of IVF in July. Anyone else?

HOPING4BA- I think 6 is great! I'm sure a few of the smaller guys will plump up too! So glad your cycle is going well!!
ERIN317- My thoughts will be with you on Saturday Best of luck and LOTS of sticky baby dust to you!!! To make it to day 5 is awesome so congrats I'm sure they will a lll be fabulous grades!!! I see a little relaxation in your future this weekend : )
Jewelzsi- Your beta is on labor day or the following Monday? My fingers and toes are crossed but its sounding promising thus far ; ) Hang in there!!
JA0811- Please don't worry about not feeling anything I am apparently carrying something and I feel absolutely NOTHING at all. I have zero symptoms and didn't with my son too. Crampy is great that means the little one is snuggling down deep into that uterus and implanting itself! I feel good about this keep your thoughts positive and poas if it will make you feel better. It did for me : )
JA..I too am feeling nothing..... let's hope its all good!
Just wondering from you "experts" how you felt a few days after transfer? Anyone have early symptoms?

I had such a horrible day yesterday. Crying on and off. Apparently none of my embies made it to blast early Thusday morning (but they're all still alive and growing) so they are putting off the biopsy (for PGD) until Sat morning. At that point they will freeze them (another $800) because they can't live any longer in the test tube. We'll get the results on the following Tuesday and no one will give me an answer about FET. They won't even narrow it down to a month. During all of this there were lots of conflicting phone calls from the RE office and its just been torture. Will they survive til Sat, through a biopsy, and a thaw? My chances of even having a healthy one aren't great.
Sorry everyone, this probably should have been a journal entry. I'm not normally so negative. I'm just so exhausted from lack of sleep and constant worry.

Jewelzsi- I still feel nothing and the nurse just called and told me my HCG levels from yesterday are at 7,450!!! I literally feel like i could run the Chicago marathon right now! ZERO symptoms but apparently there is something else going on on the inside LOL!! I also felt nothing no symptoms with my first son through IVF. Hang in there you may be puking in no time : ) (hopefully not)
CAB10- I am by far NOT an expert ha ha ha BUT I had af like cramping for maybe the first 5 or 6 days but nothing else with either of my pregnancies through IVF. Every pregnancy is different and every body reacts differently though so you can never tell. Best of luck to you!!
AS FOR ME the nurse called earlier today and told me that my HCG levels are 7,450!!! Apparently although I'm feeling NOTHING I have something going on in there : ) Made me feel better today. Now the wait until next Thursday,....all this waiting should be an olympic sport! You must have nerves of steel to do this!
mrsryan- what great numbers!!! so happy for you! i hope that helped ease your nerves a bit:) when do you go back again?
cab- glad to hear your ET went so well! I am in my first IVF TWW so i dont really have any words of wisdom from experience yet. My RE sai dhe would expect the embryo to implant about 3 days after transfer and bloating would be a good sign that was taking place.

jewel- my TWW buddy:)- how are you? ive been going crazy...see below...
Me- i have been feeling soo positive about things, way more than i ever expected. i really felt if it was negative AF would show Wed or Thurs- so each passing day since then i have been on cloud 9. my boobs are getting increasingly sorer, though not too bad. i havn't felt like AF is even on the way too much besides a few very short spouts of cramps here and there. ok, this is tmi here so, i apologize, but, then last night i had diarrhea and looked it up and discovered there are tons of things on the internet about it being a common pregnancy symptom (although some women go the opposite way and get consitpated) so each day i have felt more and more confirmed and got too confident and POAS this am and its negative. :( my ET was exactly 1 week ago so i guess i am 7dp5dt. ive seen a lot of people start POAS around day 7, and some get a postive, but i know also its common for that to be to early. this morning i spent tons of time looking online and felt better seeing from other blogs that its common to get a neg around day 7, or even some people had one up to 9 or 10, and then were still pregnant. so i havn't lost hope, but was definitely disapointed. I think i will continue POAS until my beta and hopefully one of these days i will get some better news. do any of you have personal stories to help me our even more of POASing too soon and then getting a BFP?

Jewel My birthday is Tuesday and I always get teased about being a labor day baby. Would be so cool to find out your preggars on labor day, lol! Good luck!
Erin I am praying for your embries! It is tough going through this process and the extra added stress of having unanswered question would through me over the edge. If I learned anything from the IVF process is that we have not control over the outcome. It is all up to the RE, embryologist and God. Stressing your body out wont help the situation. I know it is hard but you need to try and find a place where you can let go of all the worry and stress. When, not if, your embries make it past FET, you will want them to come into a stress free environment.
Cab I put myself on couch rest for two days after ET, just cause and then I took it really easy. This was really hard for me because I am a volleyball coach, teacher, zumba instructor and am always on the go. Remember, there is a lot going on inside that you are not even aware of. Limit caffeine, drink lots of water, etc. I had a lot of bloating and some cramping. Some of it was due to the left over stims in my body and the progesterone and estrogen I was taking. Best of luck!
JA You are so silly! However, I poased on day 7 and got a bfn too. I was very impatient. I poased two days later, day nine and got a very faint bfp!! One day eleven, I poased and got another positive and then went in and had my beta to confirm. Hoping the best for you!
ASR-you certainly have gone through the ringer! Wouldnt it be awesome after the meds for the infection and iron deficiency etc. you got preggars naturally! Just something to think and hope about.
Hoping- good luck on your ET on Tuesday! Hope everything goes well and you gets lots of embries to fertilize!
As for me, Im in another tww, waiting on beta #3. They dont tell you about this wait. My 2nd beta was awesome, 587, but now Im in limbo hoping and praying that everything is going well. My 3rd beta and u/s is on Monday, Sept 10th. Trying to do everything right so I can give my little bean the best possible home.
ttc, you were right definitely silly to try on day 7, caused so much discouragement for nothing! thanks for your story which brought me hope!
I am in disbelief right now, i have looked at the test like 20 times and want to make the pic of of the wallpaper on my phone.... haha, jk. thanks so much for all the support ladies, you all mean so much to me. tomorrow is my beta, i hope it will feel more real then:)

I'm spotting a little bit but i have no cramps so I feel that its due to the progesterone suppositories. I hope anyway.
