Hi ladies,
This is my first time on DS. I recently finished my first IVF cycle with PGD. I had four embryos but after the PGD it was determined that only one was healthy, a little girl. The waiting has been torture and yesterday we got a BFN. I've been so discouraged.
I have had 6 miscarriages over the past four years and have one beautiful little son who is 2 and half. It seems most likely that I have many eggs with chromosome abnormalities - we knew that was the case for sure with two of the babies.
I will start my second round of IVF in July. Anyone else?
This journey has been so long, and with so much grief. I don't want to do this alone anymore or hide my miscarriages.

Karen - I'm on BCP for 3 weeks and start Lupron July 5th, so you might actually start everything before me.

tj386 - looks like we will be days apart, looking forward to having someone to chat with during this journey!
1. Ice my butt
2. Warm up the oil in a heating pad
3. Inject oil
4. rub injection spot to massage the oil into the muscle
5. Repeat icing.
The ice is the key, you won't even feel the sho!
And the lupron shot is easy. Its the stims that hurt a bit. But nothing we can't handle!

I've done 2 IVF cycles before but they were before I was TTC - they were for fertility preservation (1 cycle I froze embryos, the other cycle I froze eggs). This time though, I am TTC, and if this next IUI doesn't work, I'll be doing a full cycle all the way through. I'm tired of this whole process and don't have the energy for more IUIs, so I really hope this works or that the IVF does.

gcinohio - Thank you for the Lupron info. Any and all help with how to make the meds easier is greatly appreciated.

I am excited and nervous! We go on Tuesday for our appointment with our assisting OB in the morning and then early afternoon we go for our injection instruction. Tuesday is also our anniversary, hopefully we will have a BFP in a few months to make all of this worth it!
