As far as my 2ww goes, well, as you can imagine it is torture.
Anyone know when implantation bleeding would occur and is it absolutely necessary for a BFP?? sorry, just obessessing!!!
How's all the other girls???
Do you have a 2ww or 1 ww? Last time my beta was 8 days after ET I hope its the same again!
My 2ww so far
transfer day was mon: bedrest only up to go to bathroom and eat. went to accupuncture, not fun or relaxing and she even started poking my tummy!!! I told her to stop!
tues: couch potato, not much walking around, did go to dinner, dh dropped me off at door and I walked 10 ft.
Wed: went to grocery store(shopped in a wheelchair buggy) I was bloated from procedures and a woman told me I looked like I was going to pop. I laughed a little on the inside and took it as a token of good luck. Still not walking everywhere or picking up anything!!
Thurs: drove for 1st time, went to lunch w friends, did light dishes(no heaving lifting) then couch potato again.
plan on being a couch potato on Friday.
Saturday plan on going to nice dinner w dh then couch potato!!
symptoms: I think they are just from the progesterone, but here goes: Wed- felt wobbly inthe knees and weak and nausea. Stomach very blaoated again..OHSS Returning?? cramping off and on, frequent peeing, constipation---uggh! and a bit of acid reflux(dont think this one's related to any of it)
and then there's the old.... IM going CRAZY!!
I can't wait to hear everyone's news about their BFP!!!
Molly: Congrats on your ET...isn't it amazing that life can start in a petri dish?
Fingers.....I'm praying for a good outcome for your planned FET
Kldavis & Angie: "Hang in there" as it is easier said then done. During my first IVF, my 2ww was torture. I'd obsessed on every little change my body underwent. Time could not have passed fast enough, but then it does. You're not alone in your madness! : ]
I am feeling really good even when to work today.
Marcela: glad you are feeling better! sounds like you will be getting those embies back on saturday.. I sure hope so, you are sooo close.
Fingers: that shopping list is the same as mine! this would be the first time I tried the pineapple, avocado, and hot tea in an IVF cycle. This is my 3rd, and hopefully my last@@
baby dust all
Marcela~ Glad your feeling better. Hope your ET is tomorrow!
Kl~ I have been having homemade guacamole everyday! When should I start the pineapple.
AFM~ I got the call that my Transfer will be a 5 day transfer on Sunday. Yay so happy! I m glad my body will have even more time to recoup.
Aus: 8 eggs is great. You will get a wonderful fert. report.
Marcela: I am sure you will get the green light! Good Luck! Don't drink too much water. Your bladder really only needs to be somewhat full - I was ready to burst and was in pain.
KlDavis: the 2ww is definitely difficult. I am trying to stay positive but I am so scared of being crushed in the end. Ughhhh! I have the pix of our 2 embryos up on my dresser - crazy, I know!!!
Good Luck Ladies!!!!
Ok, something to vent about (not sure how you ladies deal with this): one of our best couple friends is constantly asking "when are you guys going to have a baby?"....they know we've been trying for 2+ yrs and they still ask like it is our choice to keep waiting... ARGH! I feel they should know better -- and I don't want to explain that we've recently gone through a painful miscarriage in Oct '09. It's just too personal, but I need to say something (short of "it's none of your business!"), right?
Sorry for the vent -- I hope you all continued blessing and am so glad I found some cycle friends to share....
Aus2010!! Congrats on your eggs that is great and good luck with your tranfer!!!
kldavis: Thank you!!! I hope this is your last IVF too!!! Success!!!!
Angie: Good luck with your transfer, you should feel very positive blastos have the greatest implantion rate !!!! Good luck! how many are you tranfering?
Molly: Thank you for the tip. I want to be relax and calm on the table tomorrow and is very difficult when you feel that you are about burst
Aus~ Thats great 7 out of 8!
Marcela~ YAY thats great you get to transfer tomorrow! Cant wait to hear how it goes!
Angie: You are smart to only transfer two. If all three took you would have triplets. As amazing as triplets sounds it is a MUCH higher risk pregnancy. You are better to stick with two high quality embryos. GOOD LUCK! I wish I had made it to a 5 day!
AUS: I am in the same boat with friends asking when we are going to have kids. I opened my fat mouth about a year ago saying we would like to try this past fall. Clearly nothing happened to people are beginning to ask - Ughhh! I usually just play dumb and say we are thinking about it. Maybe just tell your friend you are taking a break from trying for awhile. OR, you could be blunt and explain that it is difficult and you really do not want to discuss it. It seems like everyone is getting prego - hopefully all of us too!!!! Also, cograts on your 7 fert eggs! Woo Hoo!
Lets cross our fingers and toes ladies!!!!
