Marcesquo~ yay for starting stims on Monday!!!

kldavis~ I go in tomorrow actually. I am a little nervous now though because my AF seemed to stop... I was spotting 3 days and then had a light flow yesterday am when I called the RE and I just figured it would get heavier as the day went on and it never did... b/w may not be good for stimming on Sunday.

So with the menopur I am using it the same way as I did on my first cycle. One vial every night and also the Follistim. The thing with the menopur is it stings when going in. Especially if you do the injection right after drawing it up. So let the menopur sit in the syringe for about 5 minutes before injecting. I learned it def helped a little.

Last time around I also did Laser accu. Only on transfer day 20 minutes before and after transfer. Not too sure if im doing it again...

Kldavis:I'll start menopur on Monday at 37.5 I agree with Angie it stings a little ( I'm going to wait for 5 minutes, I didn't know that). I think I will be using it until my trigger shot ( about 11 to 12 days)

kldavis: My accupuncturist and RE told me to do accupuncture the day prior to the transfer and the day after. My RE wanted me to ONLY concentrate on the transfer and relax on that day. If you have the discipline to meditate (my mind often can't be 'still'), it was recommended to visualize the embryo implanting during accupuncture.

Been feeling like crap cause I cant breathe!!! allergies or sinus infection giving me grief. then the meds causing short of breath arent helping... just want some relief!!!! im on an anitibiotic,zyrtec and tylenol cold... along with all the other meds..good grief!

Angie222: Great that you are starting the stims I just started last Monday!!!! What protocol are you using again? Let us know how you do.

OHH nad by that way I went today for my 2nd check up, so far so good my estrogen is 107 and we counted 19 follies. I'm keeping my fingers cross that my estrogen will stay normal this time

kldavis~ so sorry you feel crappy. I know with me after I take certain meds for a hile they stop working for me. Maybe you can switch to claritan... Hang in there just a few more days!

Im doing the antagonist (spelling?) protocol again. Follistim, Menopur,Ganerelix,Ovidrel and PIO's. Today they seen either 9 or 10 follies and one inactive cyst. Im a little nervous because last time around I started with 15 or 16 at baseline...

Well last time my estrogen was out of control I think that by the time of my trigger shot my levels were 3200 and that's was using ganirelix and Lupron to slow me down and with no Gonal-F for almost all the second week of stimulation. We end up with 26 eggs, 15 embryos, by the time of the tranfer we only had 2 left and the kinda slow and of course they didn't make it. So it seems that produced a lot but the quality wasn't really good. On top of all that the doctor told me that we triggered to early but that he was concern with hyperstimulation.

This time I'm also doing the antagonist protocol (Menupuy ar 37.5. Gonal-F at 75, and Ganirelix next week)

My hope for this cycle is that we'll have better control and good results of course.

Kldavis: I really didn't have any symptoms but the doctor were really concern because my levels were so high

I start the lovely process on IVF #2 in late January. No BCP for me this round. I'm with you, ladies.
