Acupunture is going well...I think. Alternative medicine doesn't provide obvious results. I think it is primarily a state of mind but I feel much more rested and centered so I choose to believe it is working. My Acupuncurist places a contraption (Metal balls with spikes) on my pelvis and spine during my session. He states that is helps improve blood flow to the uterus. He also told me to take a 'shot' of Pomegranite juice in the morning and in the evening. Apparently, this improves blood flow as well. Lastly, he tells me to drink hot teas. He recommends teas with cinnamon or ginger. The warm drinks cause vasodilation in the vessels that improves circulation. Just a few tips you may want to try. Why not, right??? It's cheap and easy (which is opposite of ANY IF treatment):)

YES!! I have heard about the hot teas too.. thanks for that reminder.. i had forgotten about that. I plan to drink a cup daily until bfp..(decaf of course)
I have also read about drinking pineapple juice?? any thoughts on this?

I am so happy to hear about the Ginger tea. I have been sick as a dog the last 3 days and have been drinking a lot of it! I went to the Dr but he said there is nothing to do about it. No strep. He said he would give me antibiotics if I want but I decided against it since I will be only them soon for IVF...

About the pineapple. From what I remember reading you have to use a whole pineapple. Cut it in to 5 sections and eat one whole peice including the core (that were the Bromelain is) everyday for 5 days. But you have to make sure you start after O because the acid I think is bad for the sperm...

Hey girls... Hope you are all having a happy holiday. I was asked twice if me and hubby had any announcements (fam doesn't know about IF). I managed to keep from having an emotional outburst so that's progress:). FET cycle starts one week from Monday. Fertile thoughts to all of you!

hope all of u girls had a Merry Christmas!! I was asked by a family member if I did, and I said "I'll let you know at the end of Febuary." She didnt know that I meant That would be the time we would tell the family if this works. She thought it meant I was coming to visit her!! It was a good Christmas laugh....I have to keep up the humor with this cycle! The previous ivf cycles I was so serious and nervous, but this time I have given my body permission to relax.
Last day of bcp is 12/30 also start antibiotic.
Anyone on aspirin or lovenox therapy? or prednisone?

Mine was ok... On the eve I had one grandmother pat my belly repeatedly and ask when we were going to have one.(worst part is is that she knows we are having issues but she still kept saying it) On the day my other grandmother said over and over she cant wait for us to have one and how she cant wait to buy all baby stuff for us. She also knows about what we have gone through to a certain extent. So why do they insist on bringing it up???

Cant wait for 2009 to be over all ready!

kldavis~ I was tested after my IVF mc for the clotting factor and even though my results came back fine my RE said it couldnt hurt to take a baby asprin a day this time around. So I have been taking one a day since mc. I also take Medrol for I think a week before ER ( dont remember the time line) Im pretty sure it is a form of prednisone but could be wrong.

the fun has begun!! tomorrow is sono and mock transfer. start stims next week.
