fingrs:how have you been??
how's everyone feeling? I feel great!! I am waiting to see how my follies are doing.. thats on Sunday. If all goes well, we will trigger that night and retrieve on Tuesday, or as I call... the Easter Bunny(aka RE) is going on a hunt.
Finally I have some relief from allergies or sinusitis or whatever it was. Im about 75% better!!! it was a little stressful and gave me a bit of anxiety. I even had shortness of breath..and thought I might be OHSS. Thank goodness that didnt happen!!! RE did add a med to my protocol. Its femora... to prevent/treat high estrogen. RE wanted to use it as a precaution so I can grow those follies a few more days without risking OHSS. I didnt have that problem #1 and #2 IVF but that was 5 yrs ago!!
I will say a prayer for everyone on the thread.
Babyjill... I will be here all the way through your IVF cycle.. so keep us posted!!

RE wants to stim one more day, he says its worth the risk of OHSS. Total follies: 21
not all of them are ready however. The lead is 20 and the smallest is 14. Since we are doing 5d blasts, he wants to get as many as possible. Especially, considering that DH and I want this to be the last IVF. LETS HOPE!!
so, looks like I will trigger Monday with a retreival on Wed.

I am on day 4 of stims. Went in for u/s and b/w and I now have 17 follies less then 10 ( started with 9) Im still waiting on the b/w though and worried its not good. That cyst got bigger and when ever i get bad news it is later in the day. Good news always comes fast from my RE...
I trigger tonight and retrieval on Wed...

Tonight I double my menopur and stay the same with follistim plus I start adding ganerelix. I am a little nervous about my follies. I had about 5 from 11-13 and all the rest less then 10. About 11 of them i think... I feel like I was doing much better last time around. They say im right on track though. oh well nothing much I can do. I better give these follies a pep talk tonight!
had my er this morning. it went pretty smoothly. I was so nervous!! The anestheioligist actually sat down with dh and I and had a normal conversation... I guess to relax me. He was great! Re said he got 15.. so out of the 21, I think thats a good start. Now, we wait for the embie count.

Angie: I think you and I are in about the same timing. I just started Gonarelix yesterday. I think we might be triggering on Saturday, so far I have 15 follies the biggest one is 15mm and a bunch of 13mm.
The only thing that I has me thinking is that my doc says that we are going to do a Lupron trigger shot. Have you guys ever hear anything about that? He says that is to avoid Hyperstimulation

Marcela~ I think we will be having our ER's together! How are feeling? I have heard of a lupron trigger but dont know anything about it. But whatever works...

AFM~ I went in again for u/s and b/w and will go again tomorrow and possible ER on Monday. I have about 17 or so follies all from 11 to 18. I feel absolutly nothing which has me worried... Shouldnt I feel things going on in there? Last time around on stim day 5 I started feeling sore when I would turn or bend. Now I am on day 9 with double the meds and nothing....
However, right now I am confined to the couch. Went to RE this am and saw on the ultrasound that my ovaries are on top of my uterus!! The big risk is contorsion of the ovaries,surgery,cancellation of cycle. Just to let you ladies know what that feels like... it is a pain in the center of my belly that doesnt go away. It is tender and swollen. It feels like someone hit me in the gut. He ruled out OHSS, just a slight mild case. also they did a U/A to rule out infection of the bladder. So, while I didnt have any pain during stims.. this is definitely making up for it. Hopefully my ovaries wont twist. I dont wnt to have surgery and I dont want to cancel the transfer on Monday. I didnt have any omplications on IVF #1 or 2. So my advice to you ladies is take it easy during this time.
There is some good news.. I have 9 embies that are developing nicely,the embryologist said. Im praying that they all make it to Monday for 5day blasts.
