Hi Ladies - I stumbled upon your group and would love to join in. I go in for my retrieval tomorrow and am so nervous. It looks like I only have 8 mature follicles. I am hoping there are some good eggs in there.
I have enjoyed reading about your cycles and it sounds like you are all having success. Good Luck!!!

KLdavis: How are you doing? I hope that you are feeling better! How the embies doing?

Angie: I think I will have my ER on Monday, just waiting for the nurse to call to confirm that we are triggering tonight. All my follies are 17mm to 19mm. We are hoping to get 20, we'll see!

Molly: Good luck with your retrival I know it can be stressfu but you'll see that everything turns out alrightl !Let us know how you do!

Kldavis- YUCK!!! Hope you feel better soon! IVF is hard enough without any added stress/ pain

FET is such a slow process. If I continue to stay on schedule (lining thick, etc), my transfer will be in 3 weeks.

Fingers- I didn't know that FET's were so slow moving. They can't give you anything to make the lining thicken sooner?

I had my Lupron trigger shot last night at 8pm. ER tomorrow at 8 am!!! estrogen 3225 we think we have about 20 follies

Marcela~ 20 is amazing I hope they get them all and they are all mature and perfect.

KLdavis~ I hope you get to see all 9 of your embabies strong and healthy tomorrow. My lining was an 8 yesterday and a 9 today and I think they said that was good and then being on PIO will plump it up. Also eat a lot of Fat I heard that helps the lining. Ice cream, Whole Milk and Avocados I have heard from a few people are some good things.

Will you girls be doing the pineapple and core thing after transfer?

I went in for my last u/s today. I triggered last night at 1030 and go in tomorrow 9am for ER. Cant wait. So excited!

I amm officially in the 2ww.... i have already eaten some pinapple with the core and plan on drinking lots of water(room temp) and hot decaf tea(hot foods/drink help blood flow) the water helps with cell growth!
9 embies made it... 2 are good looking blasts.. the others looked okay. will freeze whatever looks good tomorrow for later use. I have a picture of my little miracle hopefuls...right now I just feel its a miracle we got this far

I'm on my 2nd IVF and will be undergoing retrieval either on Jan 27, 28, or 29. I'm really excited and would love to have some cycle buddies.

Kl Davis - I am right behind you - I think? I hope I get to transfer. I had my retrieval yesterday. They got 12 eggs. Today I got a call that 10 fertilized. I am so nervous and am praying that they continue to grow so I can have a transfer this week. I will keep you posted. Thank you for writing about the warm fluids and fruit. I will definitely try that. Did you do acupuncture. I am planning to continue acupuncture as I believe it can't hurt. I would do anything these days - stand upside down, eat bark whatever! haha. I will be crossing my fingers for you. When is your blood test?

Will be starting my first (and hopefuly last) IVF procedure. Will start my BCP end of this week. Maybe those of you that have been through this can tell me what to expect over the next month. I saw that kidavis 1019 is doing acupuncture and was thinking of trying what I can to make myself as fertile as possible, any thoughts? I am very nervous as I am 40 and this is our last chance (besides the frozen embryos we hopefully get) to add a baby to our family. Nice to talk to others that are going through the same thing!

Hi Dlacika - Good Luck! This is my first IVF too. I am still nervous but it really hasn't been that bad. You will get used to the shots quickly - they are pretty simple and only hurt for a second.
My advice is pamper yourself and take it easy. Get lots of rest too. I am a VERY anxious person so it takes me a lot to relax but I am working on it :-)

I have done acupuncture and I like it. It is relaxing and they said it can really help with blood circulation etc. I would give it a shot. It can't hurt, right?
