Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I hear that one all the time too.
Yeah, like I am fighting off the helpers who are desperate to do my housework, bath the dogs and do the laundry.
That is a good one.
We were up at 3:45 AM because Rocco decided it was time to wake up. Bless his heart. We went to Grandmas yesterday and he slept all day. He made up for yesterday this morning.
Lisa,
I'm sorry that your camping trip wasn't all it could be, but it sounded like you had a chance to have a little fun around the fire.
Unfortunately chronic pain is a taker. We do things we think we can, but we can't, and then we pay.
I wish everyone well today, and please let us know how you're doing. It may not only help you, it might help someone else going through the same thing.
I'll be checking in later. I look forward to seeing others post.
David.
Thank goodness she has summer school so I drop her off at 11:45am and her mom picks her up. Just when you think you are done with watching kids bam they are here again. I sometimes laugh that I have been having little ones in my house for 23 years.
Hope everyone has a good day and a low pain day.
Hugs and peace to all today, have a nice day
Lisa
I woke with such painful spasms in my right hand that I didn't think I could do the client I had booked. I got through it, but now even more pain has taken over my body.
I guess it's a good day to get my foot in the door at this new pain clinic.
Hugs to all,
Cherry

@ Lizzy. I also have days where I'm just dragging around. My sleep hasn't been very balanced and I will have that day where it all catches up to me. Thanks for posting Lizzy and I hope you feel better. Keep us posted.
This is a thread where those who post a lot and those who usually just look, can share. All are welcome and invited to please jump in. Post at least one time a day.
Big Hugs,
David.
Thank you David. Thanks to all of you for making this a great place to be. All positive. Never judgemental or clickish. All caring.
I will be taking a big step now...starting to work tomorrow. I still have the pain. Without encouragement from people here and my family I couldn't do this. I won't have time to post but will check messages and be praying for all of you while I try to get settled into a job. It will be hard at first and time consuming as I have to learn it. It's work from home but very taxing and won't be easy to learn. So time will be my enemy for awhile. I'll need your prayers and thoughts. I have to do this to help my daughter with college. The things a mother does! :)
Hugs to all,
Anne
Good luck with the new work you'll be starting. If you can just check-in and let us know how it's going.
I have a r/x for Valium, which I'll take as needed. It helps me get to sleep, but once I wake up early in the morning, the pain won't allow me to get back to sleep.
I hope you can continue to keep in touch.
Hugs,
David.
