Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I am getting ready to go and get a haircut. Back to work on Monday. I'm kinda looking forward to it. The SCS is still working great. Still a bit of surgical pain, but not too bad.
You all keep my spirits up, and for those who are down, don't hesitate to get on here and tell us about it.
I had a meltdown this morning. Little Rocco missed the training pad and pooped all over the rug............oops!!
He's just a baby and has been doing so good. He's sleeping at my feet right now.
I am thankful to have this group and I need to hear from others, good or bad.
Let it rip !!!!!
Hugs to all,
David.
@Gaye - that's so nice that you got our with your sisters. I also have 2 sisters that I used to do things with but its been such a long time. I can't do movie theatres at all and I miss that. Hugs
I am doing pretty good this morning. It was hard to sleep last night but mostly due to the humidity - it was so muggy my bedding and pillow felt damp. Guess I'm prepared now for camping this weekend, its the same feeling of sleeping in a tent. Our electricity was out for a couple of hours last night - due to lightning I think but again we dug out the camping lanterns and pretended we were camping, kinda fun actually except we couldn't light a campfire in the living room lol. Well make up for that tonight, going camping for the weekend and meeting up with an online friend from another site I'm on... should be fun
Wishing everyone a minimal pain day... Hugs and peace,
Lisa

So glad the scs is working well for you... and I hope you just breeze through your first week back at work. Hugs... xxx
Rocco loves to walk. I've taken him out a few times early in the morning. He started out walking behind, but the heels to the face got him to start walking by my side. I thought the stroller thing was pretty funny myself. I agree though, he's a walker.
Rocco has been good for me, just like my friends here, a Blessing.
David.
Have a great day ya'll.
David.
gaye and manny, so sorry about your pain spikes as well.
david, so glad you have rocco. got my spoiled kitty after first surgery and she's has kept me going with all her foibles and hijenks.
sorry that i disappeared after pleading for help last night. i've just taken it easy today and tried to be light and airy. i made it through the night. my dr. called today and is going to do the procedure in a new place that my insurance will cover. i told him about yesterday and he's going to do the nerve block 8/5. i'm so thankful for everyone here and for finding such a great PM. i don't know how i've lived without this group. i'm a little tight and keep lightly stretching, but this is nothing. bless you all and prayers for relief. so many hugs!
This is how is always is, the suits plan and those of us who get hourly pay bust our butts making sure the event goes off without a hitch.
Oh, well, gonna find a nice movie to watch and spend the day eating ice cream.
Hope others are doing better today.
I hope you can have time to relax, and enjoy the ice cream.
David.
