We decided to go camping today and here I lay in my tent on the air mattress in horrible pain. I did too much of the setup then spent about an hour in the pool and even though I took my afternoon percocet I'm still in pain. I was in my zero gravity chair but even that was not comfortable enough. I sure hope I can get some relief before they light the campfire.

Good Morning All,
Rocco had his first bath today. What a trip!! He's laying on my lap, wrapped in a towel.

I feel OK. The incisions are healing good. They had trouble getting the paddle up into my spine, and that's where most of the pain is right now. They did the laminotomy on C7, but still had trouble. I hope I don't have to go through that again, but the SCS is working great.

I hope to see some more posting today. We are of to Grandma's today, but will be home tonight.

#661, why didn't you have someone else do it? that's what people always say to me after I over do it,lol Know how that goes my friend. Really hope you get to feeling better so you can enjoy your time in the midst of Gods creation. David it's good to hear your doing ok.... We have all been praying and thinking of you thru out this long ordeal, needless to say you are very important to all of us here. The pup is absolutly "adorable", is that a peekeniese(sp.)??? I'm doing well today and pain level is down, had a rough couple days w/lower back pain and cervical pain. Thank God I'm finally feeling "normal" again. Hoping all of you good people out there are getting a break from whatever may be troubling you. It's good to know there's an understanding "friend" only a click away. What a blessing this is! David , I great to hear that you are recovering well and that it's working well for you. Oh is this Grandma's first time to see Rocco? She will be so excited and probably will hide her in her moo moo when it's time to leave. Better keep a close eye on things. Lol

Lisa, I hope your camping trip starts getting less painful so you can enjoy it; I'm supposed to go next week for a couple of nights but worry about all this heat; heat index here 115 today; Uugh.
Plus w/ all going on w/ family, I may not be able to go. I need a babysitter for my 2 cats; can't leave them for 2 1/2 days.
David, so glad to hear you got a new best friend & he gets to go visit Grandma too.
I know this will help you in life & still praying for a speedy recovery & less pain; when you are hurting more, pet Rocco & I bet it will ease some of your pain :)

sorry lisa, hope the pain is under control by now. it's hard to step back and watch everyone do things, so we just keep learning that one.

not too much pain today considering it woke me at 2am and kept me up til 6. not loving that. thunderstorms will keep me in today and i can just piddle around here and take a nap. dreading a day of tests tomorrow. low pain wishes to everyone.

Camping didn't go so well... too much pain to enjoy the evening though I did sit out by the fire for a while, had a couple beer and enjoyed the chit chat. Ended up inside again long before the party was over. It started raining during the night and the kids' tent got water in it so we packed up in the rain and came home. I'm really sore now, lots of nerve pain down my legs and I've already taken my medication. Oh well, pain clinic tomorrow, sure hope they can offer me some treatment that will help.

I have made today the day I pretend I'm fine and can work. I did 4 haircuts this morning and have one more to go. I am so stupid. My neck and shoulder are is a painful spasm and I don't know how I'm going to finish.
