Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. Eat some roasted marshmallows for me.
Rocco had his first bath today. What a trip!! He's laying on my lap, wrapped in a towel.
I feel OK. The incisions are healing good. They had trouble getting the paddle up into my spine, and that's where most of the pain is right now. They did the laminotomy on C7, but still had trouble. I hope I don't have to go through that again, but the SCS is working great.
I hope to see some more posting today. We are of to Grandma's today, but will be home tonight.
Hugs to all,
David.

Plus w/ all going on w/ family, I may not be able to go. I need a babysitter for my 2 cats; can't leave them for 2 1/2 days.
David, so glad to hear you got a new best friend & he gets to go visit Grandma too.
I know this will help you in life & still praying for a speedy recovery & less pain; when you are hurting more, pet Rocco & I bet it will ease some of your pain :)
Wishing the best to everyone,
Rhonda
