You mean that there is a name for IT? Im not weird? Trichotillomania, that big, long word that is the bane of our world. With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.
Thanks for your support Lady Kahan :) I am feeling much better, urge and healthy wise, thanks Lien and Granit!
BKC, I guess that's something I really need to work on.. Mid, your idea is a good one. I used to wear lots of loud bracelets on my wrists, that was a good alert. I should start doing that again.
I'm kind of excited because today I'm going SHOPPING for things for my trip. Lots of boring stuff like miniature sized toiletries but also some fun stuff like a few dresses and tops. I also have to deal with some annoying tax stuff, bleh. I am learning that you can't trust anyone when it comes to money.
You are doing so good, amazing!!
xoxoxo
I had SUCH a good day today!
- Slept in
- Sun was shining and weather was warmish
- Had a nice breakfast
- Bought a lovely cardigan for my holiday, and then at the register found out it was half price!
- Had a good shift at work
- Swapped a shift with another girl at work so now I don't have to work an 8am shift the next morning after my good friend's 21st this friday night
- Found out my bf got a few days casual teaching which is some more $$$$ for our trip (plus his first official teaching job, yay!)
- Really good song after really good song on the radio when driving home
- No urges so faaaaar
Yay!
that sounds like a wonderful day! :D
I love it when I find out at the register that something is half price, and good songs on the radio can really make my day as well :)
226 days pf! I had a terrible night last night, could not sleep til after 3am.. I was just so awake! I only had one coffee that day, and I didn't get up late so I'm not sure what that was about. I had a lot of stressful thoughts running through my head though. Thoughts which don't seem so bad this morning. That's always the way, right?
xx
i know what you mean about everything seemign better when you wake up- hope today is bettter! sounds like yesterday was great! the other day i heard closing time on the radio by semisonic and i was belting out the lyrics and it totally made my whole day better!
Insomnia sux. I did a spinning class today, and after we did some relaxation exercises. Why can I go out like a light on a hard floor in the middle of the day in a room full of sweaty people, but spend over an hour every night trying to fall asleep?
How do we stop those thoughts? Try putting them, one by one, into the drawers of a big medicine chest, and closing the drawers. Or see them all on computer screens that you turn off, one by one. Let's work on this one together.
I always lie awake for hours too and I absolutely hate it. I think and I turn and I think and I turn and I… never seem to stop.
I can be crying and think the worst at night and the next morning when I look back I feel like a drama queen with a bad case of pms cause it just doesn’t seem to be all that bad..
Anyway, I must be up to 227 or 228? I'm not sure, memory is shite.
Shopping today, and hanging out with my friend who I went to college with. Fun!
I'm going to a sydney suburb called newtown, it's very "alternative" so great op shops. Also lots of cool bars and cheap vegetarian food. Really feel like Thai food and a beer.
