Hi MrsKolo. I'm sorry you are so sick. Have you seen the doctor? :) Now tht it's the hols, maybe you just need lots of lemon , honey and hot water (plus crushed garlic) and lots of rest!! :)

Hello!!! After 3 days of mooching in bed and groaning and moaning I am finally feeling a bit better woohoo!! Its almost midday on sunday here and I still haven't got up but am feeling more clear headed which is nice. Just been sat in bed watching firefly for the last few days - and elf last night which was nice. I am still full of cold and coughing like mad but I am hoping its on the way out which would be nice.

I get this horrid pain in my left lung when I cough grrr

Managed to stay PF - when I was really having urges luckily my arms had no strength in them to pull. Urges much less now thankfully - I guess it must be a comfort thing "Oh I feel lousy pulling makes me feel better" kinda thing. How annoying - I really am waiting for the days these things stop happening, but maybe they never will. I will always have trich. Grrr. But still, it is controllable. Peace.

Am thinking of having my haircut next week -eeeeek!! Not sure if I can/should/could get the style I want. Will post some pics of recent growth and see what you guys think. After almost 9 months (in 3 days) of PFism I should surely be able to get a haircut?

Yes, you have every right to get your hair cut. Don’t forget that you’re probably much more criticizing for yourself, than someone else would be. Okay, what I’m trying to say is, that you’re hair doesn’t look as bad as you think. You’ve made some major progress!! 9 months is freaking amazing!! :D
You can walk into a hair salon with you head held high, you’re beautiful and with an amazing haircut you’ll look even more stunning! :)

Yes! go to the hair salon!! get your hair cut. you deserve it :) I went after.... 2/3 months i think and got a pixie cut. 9 months is a long time :) They will make u look greattttt!! The sides of my head above my ears never grew back but... i didnt care. I went and they cut it and they did a great job.

Ahh and true, trich is for life. there will be hard periods full of urges and easy or easier periods. But no matter what we just have to stay close to support, and keep on trying. it's controllable :) peace indeed.

Eeeeeeeeeeep!!!!!!!!!!!!! Excitement plus. I wanted to throw up before mine, and I DID cry. Having a few beers before hand helped.

Well I will be driving so best stay away from the beer LOL but I am doing lots of calm visualisation....I am going out the night after with my OH to Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas market - its so beautiful there and we are going to drink gluhwein. I wonder what he will think :)
