You mean that there is a name for IT? Im not weird? Trichotillomania, that big, long word that is the bane of our world. With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.

I got my hair cut really short to remove as much of the coloring as I could and it has some short hairs that stick up, will lay down with gel, and it feels good, too.
Glad the rioting did not hurt you or hubby.
I am having a day of cleaning here - just scrubbed the bathroom - stopped for a lassi and comupter check now I am heading downstaits to tidy the messiest living room ever (honestly - you go away for 2 nights!)
I am thinking now about waiting a bit longer to get hair cut - I am really skint due to the hols and no pay for 6 weeks means I would prob be worrying about money. When I finally do go into a salon (first time in many many years) I would like it to be relaxing and not to worry if it costs ££
Hmmm I don't know x
Know what u mean bout pricey cuts.. Meh just wait a bit longer. The longer u wait the more options you have anyway. I know I'm giving mixed advice to you!
Xo :)
I've been reading your other posts about the riots. England is my ancestral home and it concerns me deeply. Part of my family came from Brierley Hill in the Birmingham area. I'll have to read up more on what sparked the whole thing. After the recent riots in my hometown of Vancouver, where the thugs just decided to use the hockey finals as an excuse to incite the drunken idiots into hooliganism, the social networks played a new role. So many of the idiots were shamed publicly, that the backlash actually became a problem. Still, I think the morons deserved it. What is going on in England is so much worse. I wish you well.
140 days!!!!! CONGRATS (it will probably be more by now :p)
Am soooo glad am going out for the day shortly - distraction!
Also hhad some news here that my mum is poorly - she has had heavy bleedig (she thought she was menopausal) and she was admitted to hospital - they did a scan and she has an inflamed uterus wall and needs a hysteroscopy and a biopsy - scary stuff argh x
Eep re: split ends, can you chop this bit off? Ha sounds drastic but if it's damaged anyway...
I hope you have a good day dear xx
Keep busy, you can do this! You are in the last stand-off with the split ends, and whatever you choose to do, we are all here to support you!
Hang in there!
Sorry to hear about your mum. My mom had constant heavy bleeding a few years back, to the point where she needed blood transfusions. Had to have a hysterectomy, but said hysterectomy fixed it, no problem.
And I agree with Sam. It's much better to cut hairs than pull them, especially if they're damaged.
Keep on going. You're doing great! :)
Keep on fighting through these urges, you’re doing amazing! You’ll feel great afterwards, when you look back on those urges and the little voice in your head can say “MWHOEHAHAHA I was stronger!!
