Wikid! It's great to just have hair, nevermind what it looks like!

Woooo haircuts! I say spring for it! As much as it will cost you a bit, have no doubt you'll feel great once you go. And, it will keep you motivated (if you're anything like me...). Where are you going on vacation?

Enjoy your holiday! I know what you mean about affording a haircut, however, when you can swing it, it will make you feel better. I have the same thing, hair grows straight until it gets past a couple of inches, then the cowlicks define the look.

Good morning ladies.

I have had some work this week - 2 days wee! one was in a local school that i liked - one was far away and awful!! still its all money. I also had a phonecall today - I have an interview next week wooooo!! its really far away (like a 2 hour drive) but......its in my best subject (Sociology) and its only for 6 months - so I could do a long journey for 6 months just to bring in some money and get more exp.

OH is off sick poor baby :(

2 weeks tomo til I go on hols :) off to the south of france to drink wine and soak up (hopefully) some sun before the harsh UK winter. Have also now got plans to go back to france in summer (my hubbie has a conference out there so we are thinking to extend it into a loooong holiday) and Morocco in xmas 12 - if money settles down (aka I get a job).

Sooooo....I measured my hair today (yes mad) - the shortest hairs are about 3 inches and the longest 9 inches. By this reckoning I think my hair grows just about half an inch a month (about average right) so....if I stay pull free for another year all my hair will be just below my shoulders. In 6 months when I have a year PF - then all the hair will be about chin length. So not so bad. I still can't wear it down (as all the short hair is right on top so not hidden at all. But I was able to wear it in a low pony yesterday - which is a nice change from a high bun!

Congrats on the work! Even if the one job was a couple of days, at least it's a foot in the door and now they know you. Hopefully you can get something there rather than have to travel 2 hours (yikes!). I'm glad you have these vacations to look forward to!

Don't you just love it when you can pull off a new hairstyle! Have you considered getting it cut so that the lengths are more or less the same? Or are you hoping to grow it out? Despite the different lengths I bet it is really not that noticeable considering all the new healthy growth you've got=)

Have fun on your vacation! You must be excited! Sounds like a great trip. I can totally understand the desire to make the most of the weather. I feel like we are on borrowed time here too...bring on the -30!

I do want to get it all cut to bring it to one length - but I don't want a really short do - so I am gonna wait a bit longer. Am hoping to get it cut around xmas time. at the moment work has been slow so I am poor all the time but should hopefully have more stable life by xmas and can afford a good stylist. I look forward to having it cut.

Dyed my hair last week - no more whities - although there is one that refuses dye everytime LOL!!

That sounds like a good plan. Christmas and new years will be a great time for change! And a good stylist can make it happen=) You must now be about a week away from your 7 month anniversary! How exciting! You have much to be proud of that's for sure!!!! I bet your hair looks just great. Keep at it! Christmas is only a blink away.

yeah a week away from 7 months....although I tugged a very fine hair out accidentally the other day eeeek. Jut a reminder to stay vigilent!
