MrsK, is there any way you could tutor people outside the school setting? I know a couple of moms who tutor (one never even was a teacher) who make really good money tutoring kids in math.

Yeah I do tutor accepting - its a quiet time of year but hopefully that will start picking up soon! xx

I'm thinking about doing online tutoring on a website my university gave me. The website is just for the US, but I'm sure they have something similar in the UK.

yeah I do tutor - i use firsttutors - I made quite a bit qith it last school year - hopefully it will start picking up soon. I like tutoring too.

Gonna go try and get a waitressing job too - hoping the students who were aroundfor summer will have buggered off back to uni! lol

177 days...although played a lot yesterday - goal for today - hands down no touching hair except if needed e.g. to brush it or itch if needed.

Today is 6 months PF (one or two small slip ups but pretty much 99.9% - I think I have accidentally pulled about 5 hairs in this time)

Growth is much better than it was - I have no bald patches and my very shortest hairs are about 2 inches long - the worst of my pulling places on the side the hair is growing very bad quality and damaged - but only in that small place - the rest is quite healthy and shiny. My head no longer itches all the time.

My goals for the next six months are:
1. To stop playing with hair when bored or at computer and be 100% PF
2. To go to a hair salon and have a haircut (before xmas)
3. to condition my hair regularly and take vits to boost quality
4. to get a job (haha!)

Thank you for the support guys - I could never have done this without you all. You are a fabby group of people. Its not been easy to be PF - I have bee a puller since I was about 12ish and it was very ingrained in me - I have managed as I have reached a point in my life where I have the inner strength to stop. But I could never have done it alone.

Here is to the next six months!

Hooray for 6 months! 5 hairs in that time is like a miracle from my point of view. I am down to one hair every few days, but it adds up. My goal too is no playing with the hair!! I take a mega B vitamin and I think it's helping my hair -- I know my nails have never looked better!

I'm sure the whole job situation is very stressful, so it is so impressive that you've done so well with your PFaThon. I am so proud of you!

haha well am not at the get a job stage yet - although I have seen ones to apply for finally this year so will be doing that all day tomo.
