I have made it this far, maybe a new record. I have not lost in 29 days. I also had a major accident recently and I feel like it is a 50/50 if this is going to cost me $1000 or not. This does make me want to gamble a little higher stakes which always ends bad. I am hoping ONCE things can go my way. I am happy that I will not have to pay the remainder of a very expensive car any longer. I am hoping to go 1 full year where I don't lose, just need to be disciplined.

I have been away from doing the norm and I can tell a big difference. I need to keep journaling everyday. I slipped up, three times. Gambled two days in a row and won $450, and then lost $250 on sportsbetting yesterday. In my head I was trying to tell myself that since I didn't lose, it technically doesn't count as a relapse, but all I can think about is gambling so it was absolutely a relapse. Today was an amazing day!I stayed strong and no urges. We went to go look at Christmas lights as a family. It was a memberable time. I wasnt watching my phone, glancing at game scores. I was paying attention to my family. This journey is beginning to show me what I have been missing the last 15 years. Time, I cannot get it back.. Need to keep going!

Today was actually a really hard day. I forgot I had another triggor which is when I am bored I want to gamble, especially bet on sports. It was a slow night and the kids were entertaining themselves upstairs. I wanted to gamble so bad but I stayed strong. I decided to go to bed at like 8:30pm so I wouldn't relapse. I am going to start excercising and I think that will help. Well 10 days strong, this is USUALLY when I relapse, but NOT THIS TIME!!!

Today was my first perfect day!! I had no mood swings AND no urges. I was just happy and content, I could feel pre-gambling Jeremy back. I felt confident, funny, happy, and nice. Today was actually a two part day. Since I found out about getting the $5,000 for investing, my mind has been racing on gambling. I wanted to sportsbet today so bad! I choose a couple games to watch them and see if I would have bet, what would have happened type deal. Well both games would have lost in a last second controversey. I made it one whole week!! I am excited!! Today was a pretty good day. I was able to help my wife with all the house chores. I went to work for a little bit and most importantly spent the day with my family and our very close friends. Today was a payday! I worked 40 hours of OT on this paycheck so we had a nice surplus. I could remember a time where I would take everything I had left after bills and go straight to the casino and try to double or triple it. I received an opportunity to do a new and interesting project at work and it has been met with gossip and a lot of negative energy at work.
