Day 4: December 13, 2017

Today was an interesting day. I was able to stay clear of the poker game, which was a plus! On the otherhand, I had many different triggors happen today, but I stayed strong on my day 4! I had a co-worker try to throw me under the bus twice today. It did make me angry, but I decided to take the high road and then I vented to my wife when I got home and now I am good.

The other triggor was my coworker made $125,000 overnight on a crypto currency called TRON. He told me about it when it was $.005, now it is $.018. That seems like minute numbers, but when you have 14,000,000 shares, you make a lot of money fast. I am so happy for this man because he is seriously the nicest person in the world. He is humble and does everything God centered. While I am exactic that this is happening to him, I am so mad at myself because gambling has handicapped me from making any important moves in my life. I listen to Dave Ramsey and I am trying to work as much as I can but still be there for my family.

I know this early part of the journey is the most stressful and will have the most bumps, but I can already tell journaling every morning about the day before is a GREAT tool in this journey. It will help calm fears and let me get my thoughts out.

Well here goes another day!
