  It was my birthday on Monday, but in trying to get ready I found my feet so swollen the only shoes I was able to wear were flip flops. Dan took me out to choose some presents bless his heart but I couldnt manage to walk very far before the swelling got so bad I couldn't get the shoes off as they'd cut into my feet. I was so breathless too and really beginning to feel the side affects of the heart failure now. All I can do at the moment is sleep, I'm asleep all day except for the few times I...

  Well we've had no real change since the last journal entry except I have been referred to a vascular specialist to have a permanent picc line fitted as the lack of peripheral veins is having a detrimental affect on my health now. Today I had the first of 3 scans/tests needed to be able to get treatment. It was an MRI scan and I'm terrible claustrophobic. They gave me sedatives but they may as well have been sugar pills. They had me laid down on the suffocating table then strapped my head into...
