  was doing pretty fucking good for a minute.  had two months of not drinking this time around then two or three weeks ago i had a binge.  and now this week another binge.  i now fully accept that i can never, ever drink and have to for the next six months at least stay away from any situation that involves people drinking around me.  why am i like this?  instead of going over this again, i am going to focus on what i need to do to change and also give thanks that i didn' t kill someone and...

  So, the Israeli guy that I was really, really into........turns out he got back with his ex, who, just from the two times I met him, could tell that he really loved, just by passing comments he dropped about her.  So in a matter of 12 hours, my two hot, sober lovers......have disappeared from my life.  HAHA!  100 to 0 in about 60 seconds.  But, you know what is crazy?  I really don't feel upset *AT ALL*.  I actually feel very happy.  I can see in a way that meeting both of them inspired...

  so yesterday marked one month of sobriety.  i was feeling great and had two days off from work and just got paid.  i had been borrowing my friend's Osho tarot deck for a few months prior and had just given it back last week and really was missing it.  i tracked down where to find tarot cards in the city--it's not an easy thing.  also i don't really having things shipped to me because half the time the package gets lost and even if it did get here it would take 1 month and  half most...

  So today marks one month sober.  I am feeling really solid in my willpower and decision not to drink.  I am really grateful to have gotten my online teaching job back and worked a lot this month and will be getting a decent paycheck coming up.  I also have some other things I'm working on to make money online, and I have accomplished some of the first steps although I am still nervous and daunted about executing it all.  But focusing on the doubt is not going to bring about the things I...

  so last night i pushed myself out of my comfort zone.  i went sober on a tinder date.  i've only meet up with boys i've met on tinder a handful of times, and each time i drank to varying degrees, but mostly i was wasted.  yesterday i met up with this guy and BOY was it a revelation.  i almost canceled on him, but something in me knew i needed to challenge myself by socializing like this.  i didn't want to have sex.  when i am sober i rarely feel horny.  and i'm trying to evolve....

  So yes, I'm on here to write that I drank this weekend.  I drank friday night and drank all day Saturday.  Nothing terrible happened, nothing lost, didn't fuck up anything too bad.  I did have this one guy who I really liked who is sober hang out with me when I was drunk, and I think it turned him off.  I have to get it through my thick skull that poeple do not like me when I'm drunk.  And it's when I start to dim out due to excessive alcohol consumption that this unattractive person...

  I have to remember that everyday I don't drink is a victory.  and also, just be grateful always for my life.  I am pretty good at not getting caught up in the rat race these days or keeping up with the Joneses.  I mean, my last journal was about my jealousy over my friends jet-setting liftestyle, but all in all I know I am being a snob by harboring such feelings.  I really do have such gratitude for my lot in life, and really just wish everyone else had the opportunity to have access to...
