I am a father of a 25 year old daughter who is estranged from me. In the beginning of the estrangement I played the victim. I passed the blame to her. I said disparaging things to keep myself sheltered. Sheltered from the accountability that was mine, and only mine. I taught my daughter how to behave, how to act and think. I had no emotional intelligence then and I blamed her for the estrangement. I know better now. I am responsible for my actions and words. This started 10 years ago and...
