About Me

I am a disabled mom to a beautiful nine-year-old daughter. I had a tree fall on me in 2003 and have had ongoing health problems since then, including 13 back/neck surgeries and many other surgeries/illnesses. I suffer from depression, anxiety and ptsd as a result of the health problems and accident. I have two yellow labrador retrievers and one indoor bunny (she has an entire room that is penned all to herself and is very loved and spoiled! I grow hydroponic vegetables indoors as well. I also enjoy crafts when I am feeling well enough, specifically working with my Cricut. We love camping and being outdoors. I do the best I can with my daughter but have such mom guilt on a daily basis because I know I cannot do what "normal" parents can because of my physical limitations and that destroys my heart. I am in a long-term relationship that is and has been extremely toxic. I have finally come to the realization that he is a narcissist and will never change. Unfortunately being on disability and the inability to work, I am "stuck" right now. I am working on getting a plan into place and hope to be able to leave the relationship when the opportunity arises, financially moreso than anything. The relationship the last year has taken an enormous toll on me and I have had nobody to talk to. I am extremely isolated.
