  There’s NO rulebook to the clinician life. You make dumb mistakes being a rookie and feelings of shame from previous encounters. I have cried at least 40xs this month.   It's been 10 months since my estranged father's death. I have dealt with grief in more ways than one from working obsessively to isolating myself from friends to wanting to be alone. I have been selfish, shopped, etc. I've worked to rebuild myself and indulged in new hobbies from baking/cooking to learning how to use equine/horse therapy to work with children and adults, who have dealt with trauma.   Why is that I feel like trapped in some alternate universe. I was dating a guy, who assumed/thought a commitment was being forced upon him.   I’ve been on/off the website due to academics, life, moving, grief, and taking a year off from graduate studies the list goes on. And now, I’m back. But out of all the chaos that has disrupted my world, grief crept into morning and tears just fell at 6:45am. I had an interesting conversation with my godmother and mother.
