  Due to many medical issues, I've missed a lot of school. Majority is due to migraines caused by sinus infections. Today, the counselor at this alternative school I go to told me that I might not be able to keep my spot there since I've missed so much and I don't have a doctor's note for every single day that I've been absent. If I don't finish 2 classes in 2 weeks, I will be dropped from the school. I already told my parents and they aren't mad, which I'm grateful for, but I can't help but...

  I am 18 years old and I am slowly trying to become more independent and for me, that first step is to get a job. I've been wanting to get a job for a couple of years now, but I have school to worry about, plus my school attendence is terrible so I figure that nobody would want to hire me anyways.   My mother is definitely a narcissist. She doesn't think she is, but she is. Throughout my life, my mother has said and done things that were very hurtful towards me and other family members and she doesn't think she did anything wrong. No remorse whatsoever. She does or says whatever comes to mind without thinking if it is hurtful to others. An example of this was when I was 13, so about 5 years ago. I was at the mall with my dad and my soon-to-be stepmom. I was trying on heels just for fun...
