  I fell off the wagon as they say. Am going through depression and gambling came back easy. Even worse than it was before. At the casino every time I had a dollar and would leave once I had nothing.  My life is horrible and I am fighting everyday with this.  I have always thought I’m in control I can walk away. There is no control for me, it’s insane.  So I have come back to get on the right path to stop for good. I need support. My meetings will be sat and Wednesday and here.

  Last year around Thanksgiving I banned because I had spent my daughter’s bill money I was supposed to put in the bank, a breaking point I would say. Also I used to go with my sister, my only adult interaction and socializing. But her boyfriend lost his job and she  didn’t have time for me anymore so that made it easy to band as well.3 months later February 2018, I went to another casino in a neaigboring state with my sister.   11/22/17 was the day I got my life back. I am a few months behind on my bills however I am calm, because I know now I can dig myself out of debt and not into it. Last Friday was the first Friday i can remeber in some time in which, my paycheck was mine. What a great feeling. Although I owed every dollar, it was still mine, and the casino didnt and couldnt get to it first.  Now i am looking forward to Fridays, getting my pay and coming out of debt.   i have lost money in gambling after all it’s a business for them, but those wins made me feel something the losses too. Over the 5-6 tears I have been gambling there was an emotion attached to it. When I would loose I felt something, I got in my car I cried I prayed I begged but over the last 6 months gambling Made me  numb. I was going to feel something and didn’t.   How do I get over the quilt I feel. My sadness, weakness? I would do anything for my kids and yet I’m not able to give them because of this addiction.   My sister and I did everything together but when she had gotten a boyfriend and my boyfriend left me, things took a turn with gambling for the worse.   I had a strong pull today and yesterday. Convincing myself I could go and be ok, maybe get lucky and bring money home.
